Been wondering why you can't find a job? Why foreigners seem to get preferential treatment in hiring? This article explains a lot about why Corporate Amerika is cutting off its nose to spite its face. This is the road to serfdom. Work weeks are starting to become 80 hours now, sometimes more. Wages paid are sometimes below minimum wage. Taxes are going to soak up 55% or more of your paycheck.

We ought to be on strike. Complete strike, with nobody going to work for a week. Bring the monster to its knees. That'll never happen, because the monster holds all the cards!

And for those of you in the declining "lucky to have a job" category, your prospects are getting ever-dimmer. No upward movement, it takes a PhD to get a job at McDougal's these days, and young workers just entering the job market are just plain out of the running. I guess this is why I'm seeing panhandlers with signs reading "Will work for hemlock tea", and "Will pay to work"...and no, I'm not kidding.

The overt and shameful greed of Corpulent Amerika, er, Corporate Amerika, has killed the goose that laid the Golden Parachute, er, Egg- the Omnipotent Consumer. The bottom line is the only line that matters. Not even the soup line is more important, nor the unemployment line. As long as "China can supply, we will buy" is the New Mantra, we're sunk. Nobody with a job, nobody to buy the cheap, hazardous Chinese goods shipped in by the container ships. How long will Corporate Amerika stay here? They've been leaving in droves since the 70's, via the magical cost-cutting measure known as "Outsourcing". Now, not only are products and materials commodities, so are PEOPLE. Or sheeple. Whatever. We don't matter anyway, that much is clear!

I attribute this to the little "agreement" that was put in place 113 years ago, creating the fraudulent, manipulative entity known as "Da Fed".

And the "Kaptains of Industry" keep the hits coming...

Green Jobs, Mr. Obummer? Has a ring of "Soylent Green" to it, especially with the coming medical rationing and forced euthanasia...

Or at least he hopes to. He also wants the USA to be nuke-free. He's slashing the defense budget to the bone, yet he spends $10 Trillion on what? It's missing! He just gave our future to the bankers??? And to top it all off, he snuggles up to the Muslims in Sandbox Arabia and BOWS TO KISS THE ROBES OF THEIR KING!!! Whatever this guy is smoking...I don't want any! This guy is so far out in Left Field, he makes Ted Kennedy look like a right-wing, gun-toting conservative!

He has an advisor that is telling him that Global Warming is so dire, that he's convening a panel of scientists (apparently, not ones that ever go outside, nor live in the northern tier of states) to come up with "radical ways to cool the Earth's atmosphere", which includes "firing particles of pollution into the atmosphere to act as a shield against radiation"...wait, WHAT? That's exactly what coal burning power plants and gasoline engines do RIGHT NOW, for FREE! Is this guy on crack??? So we're supposed to get our electricity from what, bicycle-driven generators? Solar? Wind? Great if you live in a sunny, windy state. If you live up north, not so much. And the media keeps spreading the wealth of knowledge that is Obama...

And the Lord God Obama spake, and he sayeth "Yea, though we have the biggest nuclear arsenal this side of North Korea, we shall lay it down, and the Raptor, we shall clip it's wings. We shall live in a nuclear-free country, and burn no atoms, nor coal, nor fossil fuels of any kind. We shall throw open our borders to anyone, and welcome even our enemies as we would welcome our family. For I have kissed the robe of My Master, and we are in no danger..."

The picture is clear, folks. We are being led like lambs to the slaughter. The world is about to become a much smaller place if the globalists get their way (and they will). The notes coming out of the G20 summit make it clear that the dollar as the world's reserve currency is to be done away with, and the Fed is being subjugated to the will of an international cabal of elites who will decide our fate. Well, comrades, God fired a good man yesterday. But what in Obama's name gives Him the right to fire the CEO of a private organization? And by saying something about it, why am I considered racist? I hear the bank CEOs are next, President God will be firing some of them next.

In my opinion, He fired the wrong CEO. He should have gone after Bob Nardelli. Nardelli has a stellar reputation for ruining companies- look what he did to Home Despot. Their board finally wised up and ran him out on a rail, but not before he cleaned them out with his "golden parachute". This is unconscionable to me, that these multi-million dollar bonuses and "severance packages" are allowed to continue...but I digress, comrade.

I think, no, I KNOW the reason that Nardelli was safe and Wagoner was voted off "American Car CEO" is that President God wants Nardelli to complete the deal with FIAT- as in "Fix It Again, Tony!" aka "Freaking Italians Attempting Technology"...after all Italy is a Socialist nation, and what better way to get Americans to accept Marxist ideology than with a close partnership with a Socialist company? While we're at it, does this mean that Ferrari will change their "prancing stallion" logo to Chrysler's satanic pentagram? Ferrari is owned by FIAT, after all. Perhaps FIAT will start printing our currency- after all, they are named for it...

Seriously, though, we need to keep President God out of private business- it's not His place to bother Himself with our earthly concerns. it's clear to me that He wants General Motors to fail, He will then swoop down and "save" the company, renaming it "Government Motors"- He doesn't even have to change the initials! As with everything that private firms do, government can do it better- after all, look at the great job they do with welfare, Socialist Security, Department of Veteran's Affairs, etc...I can just see the ads rolling now- "New for 2012- the Government Motors 'Volt'- change that'll SHOCK YOU!"

And to quote Thomas Jefferson, third President of the Unites States, "My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government." and "Dissent is the highest form of patriotism". Too bad Thomas didn't actually pen the second one, though it is often attributed to him. So my disagreeing with President God is actually healthy, and it's patriotic, too! It's not racist for me to speak out against the travesties that mark His administration and policy- after all, he IS WHITE (well, half of him is, anyway). His mother was white, and He was raised by his white Grandma after his mom left him. But the Mid-stream Media doesn't want anyone to know THAT little tidbit. So to everyone who has called me a racist for speaking up against President God- get over it! BTW, is that a big green booger I see on the edge of your nastril?

With all that is going on in Weaselton, DC, you may ask "Amir, what are you, NUTS or something?"

The AIG bailout is a smokescreen, carefully concocted to distract the People from the real business at hand, which is to bring the economy to its knees, and to turn this once-great republic into a third-world Communist nation. The whole economic mess is a symptom, not the problem! Understand this- our "leaders" are NOT looking out for our best interests, they are looking to loot the Treasury of as much as they can, then squirrel it away for later use. It's just a variation on the "Golden Rule"- whoever has the gold, makes the rules!

Obama has done nothing in the country's best interest, and has blatantly lied to the American People. He lied during his siege on the voters, he has done nothing but lie ever since. Typical of a lawyer, when cornered on something, he deflects and starts spouting off about stuff not even remotely related to the question. He promised that this would be, and I quote, "The most transparent administration in our nation's history". Then his first act as President was to ram the Porkulus Bill down our throats, without debate or review. Nice. Where was the transparency there? He signed an "executive order" requiring Gitmo to be closed within a year. What are we supposed to do with the terrorists? Absorb them into our society. Nice. Maybe they just need a hug! What kind of jobs are out there in the USA for someone who has "Assisted in the destruction of the World Trade Center in NYC on 9/11, fought against and killed US soldiers in Iraq/Afghanistan, expert knowledge of improvised munitions and IED construction" on their resume? I know- let's put them to work at Chuck E Cheese!!!

Obama has lied, manipulated the media (our very own Pravda!), and now is creating his own National Security Force. By his own words, this "Civilian Service" should be "as well-funded, and as well-trained as the US Military". Nazi Brownshirts, anyone?

House Bill 1388, which was passed by the House, contains language that will prohibit any kind of civil protest. I refer you to the text of the bill, which was not read by Congress (they don't have the time to read bills that they vote on).

Excerpt is here- pay special attention to Section 125, which is the part I am putting up here- it's pretty scary, seeing as how it flies in the face of that old, weathered, obsolete document known as the Constitution-

H.Amdt 49 to H.R. 1388 Prohibits Organizations From Influencing… Legislation, Protesting or Petitioning.

SEC. 1304. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES AND INELIGIBLE ORGANIZATIONS.

Section 125 (42 U.S.C. 12575) is amended to read as follows: `SEC. 125. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES AND INELIGIBLE ORGANIZATIONS.

`(a) Prohibited Activities- A participant in an approved national service position under this subtitle may not engage in the following activities:

`(1) Attempting to influence legislation.

`(2) Organizing or engaging in protests, petitions, boycotts, or strikes.

`(3) Assisting, promoting, or deterring union organizing.

`(4) Impairing existing contracts for services or collective bargaining agreements.

`(5) Engaging in partisan political activities, or other activities designed to influence the outcome of an election to any public office.

`(6) Participating in, or endorsing, events or activities that are likely to include advocacy for or against political parties, political platforms, political candidates, proposed legislation, or elected officials.

`(7) Engaging in religious instruction, conducting worship services, providing instruction as part of a program that includes mandatory religious instruction or worship, constructing or operating facilities devoted to religious instruction or worship, maintaining facilities primarily or inherently devoted to religious instruction or worship, or engaging in any form of religious proselytization.

`(8) Providing a direct benefit to–

`(A) a business organized for profit;

`(B) a labor organization;

`(C) a partisan political organization;

`(D) a nonprofit organization that fails to comply with the restrictions contained in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 except that nothing in this section shall be construed to prevent participants from engaging in advocacy activities undertaken at their own initiative; and

`(E) an organization engaged in the religious activities described in paragraph (7), unless Corporation assistance is not used to support those religious activities.

`(9) Conducting a voter registration drive or using Corporation funds to conduct a voter registration drive.

`(10) Such other activities as the Corporation may prohibit.

`(b) Ineligible Organizations- No assistance provided under this subtitle may be provided to the following types of organizations (including the participation of a participant in an approved national service position under this subtitle in activities conducted by such organizations) or to organizations that are co-located on the same premises as the following organizations:

`(1) Organizations that provide or promote abortion services, including referral for such services.

`(2) For-profit organizations, political parties, labor organizations, or organizations engaged in political or legislative advocacy.

`(3) Organizations that have been indicted for voter fraud.

`(c) Nondisplacement of Employed Workers or Other Volunteers- A participant in an approved national service position under this subtitle may not perform any services or duties or engage in activities which–

`(1) would otherwise be performed by an employed worker as part of his or her assigned duties as an employee or by another volunteer who is not a participant in an approved national service position; or

`(2) will supplant the hiring of employed workers or work of such other volunteers.’.

Something else I'd like to point out- the most "transparent" administration in history is also the one that has Timmy the Tax Cheat Geithner running the Treasury. Incompetent is the most polite term I can come up with to describe him. By design, of course. If you want a job in Our Lord God Obama's adminstration, you must be a tax cheat. He also said that he would not hire any lobbyists to work for him, yet that's all he hires. And this is the most trusted man in the country? Wow. Hey senator, nice suit!

Not allowed to vote or campaign against the Government? WTF? Not allowed to protest? Not allowed to have religious content? And this passed???

Da, comrades, it passed. Too bad the media doesn't report what is going on in Weaselton, DC. Much like in Soviet Russia, "We are all communists now". The war is over without a shot being fired. How do you like Obama now?

Constitution for the United States of America^[1]

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Article. I.

Section. 1. All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.

Section. 2. The House of Representatives shall be composed of Members chosen every second Year by the People of the several States, and the Electors in each State shall have the Qualifications requisite for Electors of the most numerous Branch of the State Legislature.

No Person shall be a Representative who shall not have attained to the Age of twenty five Years, and been seven Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State in which he shall be chosen.

Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons, including those bound to Service for a Term of Years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons [Modified by Amendment XIV]. The Number of Representatives shall not exceed one for every thirty Thousand, but each State shall have at Least one Representative; and until such enumeration shall be made, the State of New Hampshire shall be entitled to chuse three, Massachusetts eight, Rhode-Island and Providence Plantations one, Connecticut five, New-York six, New Jersey four, Pennsylvania eight, Delaware one, Maryland six, Virginia ten, North Carolina five, South Carolina five, and Georgia three.

When vacancies happen in the Representation from any State, the Executive Authority thereof shall issue Writs of Election to fill such Vacancies.

The House of Representatives shall chuse their Speaker and other Officers; and shall have the sole Power of Impeachment.

Section. 3. The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, chosen by the Legislature thereof [Modified by Amendment XVII], for six Years; and each Senator shall have one Vote.

Immediately after they shall be assembled in Consequence of the first Election, they shall be divided as equally as may be into three Classes. The Seats of the Senators of the first Class shall be vacated at the Expiration of the second Year, of the second Class at the Expiration of the fourth Year, and of the third Class at the Expiration of the sixth Year, so that one third may be chosen every second Year; and if Vacancies happen by Resignation, or otherwise, during the Recess of the Legislature of any State, the Executive thereof may make temporary Appointments until the next Meeting of the Legislature, which shall then fill such Vacancies [Modified by Amendment XVII].

No Person shall be a Senator who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty Years, and been nine Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State for which he shall be chosen.

The Vice President of the United States shall be President of the Senate, but shall have no Vote, unless they be equally divided.

The Senate shall chuse their other Officers, and also a President pro tempore, in the Absence of the Vice President, or when he shall exercise the Office of President of the United States.

The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments. When sitting for that Purpose, they shall be on Oath or Affirmation. When the President of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside: And no Person shall be convicted without the Concurrence of two thirds of the Members present.

Judgment in Cases of Impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States: but the Party convicted shall nevertheless be liable and subject to Indictment, Trial, Judgment and Punishment, according to Law.

Section. 4. The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.

The Congress shall assemble at least once in every Year, and such Meeting shall be on the first Monday in December [Modified by Amendment XX], unless they shall by Law appoint a different Day.

Section. 5. Each House shall be the Judge of the Elections, Returns and Qualifications of its own Members, and a Majority of each shall constitute a Quorum to do Business; but a smaller Number may adjourn from day to day, and may be authorized to compel the Attendance of absent Members, in such Manner, and under such Penalties as each House may provide.

Each House may determine the Rules of its Proceedings, punish its Members for disorderly Behaviour, and, with the Concurrence of two thirds, expel a Member.

Each House shall keep a Journal of its Proceedings, and from time to time publish the same, excepting such Parts as may in their Judgment require Secrecy; and the Yeas and Nays of the Members of either House on any question shall, at the Desire of one fifth of those Present, be entered on the Journal.

Neither House, during the Session of Congress, shall, without the Consent of the other, adjourn for more than three days, nor to any other Place than that in which the two Houses shall be sitting.

Section. 6. The Senators and Representatives shall receive a Compensation for their Services, to be ascertained by Law, and paid out of the Treasury of the United States. They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.

No Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil Office under the Authority of the United States, which shall have been created, or the Emoluments whereof shall have been encreased during such time; and no Person holding any Office under the United States, shall be a Member of either House during his Continuance in Office.

Section. 7. All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.

Every Bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it become a Law, be presented to the President of the United States;^[2] If he approve he shall sign it, but if not he shall return it, with his Objections to that House in which it shall have originated, who shall enter the Objections at large on their Journal, and proceed to reconsider it. If after such Reconsideration two thirds of that House shall agree to pass the Bill, it shall be sent, together with the Objections, to the other House, by which it shall likewise be reconsidered, and if approved by two thirds of that House, it shall become a Law. But in all such Cases the Votes of both Houses shall be determined by yeas and Nays, and the Names of the Persons voting for and against the Bill shall be entered on the Journal of each House respectively. If any Bill shall not be returned by the President within ten Days (Sundays excepted) after it shall have been presented to him, the Same shall be a Law, in like Manner as if he had signed it, unless the Congress by their Adjournment prevent its Return, in which Case it shall not be a Law.

Every Order, Resolution, or Vote to which the Concurrence of the Senate and House of Representatives may be necessary (except on a question of Adjournment) shall be presented to the President of the United States; and before the Same shall take Effect, shall be approved by him, or being disapproved by him, shall be repassed by two thirds of the Senate and House of Representatives, according to the Rules and Limitations prescribed in the Case of a Bill.

Section. 8. The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;

To borrow Money on the credit of the United States;

To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes;

To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;

To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures;

To provide for the Punishment of counterfeiting the Securities and current Coin of the United States;

To establish Post Offices and post Roads;

To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries;

To constitute Tribunals inferior to the supreme Court;

To define and punish Piracies and Felonies committed on the high Seas, and Offences against the Law of Nations;

To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water;

To raise and support Armies, but no Appropriation of Money to that Use shall be for a longer Term than two Years;

To provide and maintain a Navy;

To make Rules for the Government and Regulation of the land and naval Forces;

To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;

To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;

To exercise exclusive Legislation in all Cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten Miles square) as may, by Cession of particular States, and the Acceptance of Congress, become the Seat of the Government of the United States, and to exercise like Authority over all Places purchased by the Consent of the Legislature of the State in which the Same shall be, for the Erection of Forts, Magazines, Arsenals, dock-Yards, and other needful Buildings; — And

To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers, and all other Powers vested by this Constitution in the Government of the United States, or in any Department or Officer thereof.

Section. 9. The Migration or Importation of such Persons as any of the States now existing shall think proper to admit, shall not be prohibited by the Congress prior to the Year one thousand eight hundred and eight, but a Tax or duty may be imposed on such Importation, not exceeding ten dollars for each Person.

The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it.

No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed.

No Capitation, or other direct, Tax shall be laid, unless in Proportion to the Census or Enumeration herein before directed to be taken.

No Tax or Duty shall be laid on Articles exported from any State.

No Preference shall be given by any Regulation of Commerce or Revenue to the Ports of one State over those of another; nor shall Vessels bound to, or from, one State, be obliged to enter, clear, or pay Duties in another.

No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law; and a regular Statement and Account of the Receipts and Expenditures of all public Money shall be published from time to time.

No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.

Section. 10. No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts; pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility.

No State shall, without the Consent of the Congress, lay any Imposts or Duties on Imports or Exports, except what may be absolutely necessary for executing it's inspection Laws; and the net Produce of all Duties and Imposts, laid by any State on Imports or Exports, shall be for the Use of the Treasury of the United States; and all such Laws shall be subject to the Revision and Controul of the Congress.

No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any Duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay.

Article. II.

Section. 1. The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America. He shall hold his Office during the Term of four Years, and, together with the Vice President, chosen for the same Term, be elected, as follows:

Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.

The Electors shall meet in their respective States, and vote by Ballot for two Persons, of whom one at least shall not be an Inhabitant of the same State with themselves. And they shall make a List of all the Persons voted for, and of the Number of Votes for each; which List they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the Seat of the Government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate. The President of the Senate shall, in the Presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the Certificates, and the Votes shall then be counted. The Person having the greatest Number of Votes shall be the President, if such Number be a Majority of the whole Number of Electors appointed; and if there be more than one who have such Majority, and have an equal Number of Votes, then the House of Representatives shall immediately chuse by Ballot one of them for President; and if no Person have a Majority, then from the five highest on the List the said House shall in like Manner chuse the President. But in chusing the President, the Votes shall be taken by States, the Representation from each State having one Vote; a quorum for this Purpose shall consist of a Member or Members from two thirds of the States, and a Majority of all the States shall be necessary to a Choice. In every Case, after the Choice of the President, the Person having the greatest Number of Votes of the Electors shall be the Vice President. But if there should remain two or more who have equal Votes, the Senate shall chuse from them by Ballot the Vice President [Modified by Amendment XII].

The Congress may determine the Time of chusing the Electors, and the Day on which they shall give their Votes; which Day shall be the same throughout the United States.

No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

In Case of the Removal of the President from Office, or of his Death, Resignation, or Inability to discharge the Powers and Duties of the said Office, the Same shall devolve on the Vice President, and the Congress may by Law provide for the Case of Removal, Death, Resignation or Inability, both of the President and Vice President, declaring what Officer shall then act as President, and such Officer shall act accordingly, until the Disability be removed, or a President shall be elected [Modified by Amendment XXV].

The President shall, at stated Times, receive for his Services, a Compensation, which shall neither be increased nor diminished during the Period for which he shall have been elected, and he shall not receive within that Period any other Emolument from the United States, or any of them.

Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation: — "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Section. 2. The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States; he may require the Opinion, in writing, of the principal Officer in each of the executive Departments, upon any Subject relating to the Duties of their respective Offices, and he shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.

He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: but the Congress may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Departments.

The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session.

Section. 3. He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper; he shall receive Ambassadors and other public Ministers; he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed, and shall Commission all the Officers of the United States.

Section. 4. The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Article. III.

Section. 1. The judicial Power of the United States shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services a Compensation, which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office.

Section. 2. The judicial Power shall extend to all Cases, in Law and Equity, arising under this Constitution, the Laws of the United States, and Treaties made, or which shall be made, under their Authority; — to all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls; — to all Cases of admiralty and maritime Jurisdiction; — to Controversies to which the United States shall be a Party; — to Controversies between two or more States; — between a State and Citizens of another State [Modified by Amendment XI]; — between Citizens of different States; — between Citizens of the same State claiming Lands under Grants of different States, and between a State, or the Citizens thereof, and foreign States, Citizens or Subjects.

In all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, and those in which a State shall be Party, the supreme Court shall have original Jurisdiction. In all the other Cases before mentioned, the supreme Court shall have appellate Jurisdiction, both as to Law and Fact, with such Exceptions, and under such Regulations as the Congress shall make.

The Trial of all Crimes, except in Cases of Impeachment, shall be by Jury; and such Trial shall be held in the State where the said Crimes shall have been committed; but when not committed within any State, the Trial shall be at such Place or Places as the Congress may by Law have directed.

Section. 3. Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.

Article. IV.

Section. 1. Full Faith and Credit shall be given in each State to the public Acts, Records, and judicial Proceedings of every other State. And the Congress may by general Laws prescribe the Manner in which such Acts, Records and Proceedings shall be proved, and the Effect thereof.

Section. 2. The Citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States.

A Person charged in any State with Treason, Felony, or other Crime, who shall flee from Justice, and be found in another State, shall on Demand of the executive Authority of the State from which he fled, be delivered up, to be removed to the State having Jurisdiction of the Crime.

No Person held to Service or Labour in one State, under the Laws thereof, escaping into another, shall, in Consequence of any Law or Regulation therein, be discharged from such Service or Labour, but shall be delivered up on Claim of the Party to whom such Service or Labour may be due [Modified by Amendment XIII].

Section. 3. New States may be admitted by the Congress into this Union; but no new State shall be formed or erected within the Jurisdiction of any other State; nor any State be formed by the Junction of two or more States, or Parts of States, without the Consent of the Legislatures of the States concerned as well as of the Congress.

The Congress shall have Power to dispose of and make all needful Rules and Regulations respecting the Territory or other Property belonging to the United States; and nothing in this Constitution shall be so construed as to Prejudice any Claims of the United States, or of any particular State.

Section. 4. The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened), against domestic Violence.

Article. V.

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate [Possibly abrogated by Amendment XVII].

Article. VI.

All Debts contracted and Engagements entered into, before the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be as valid against the United States under this Constitution, as under the Confederation.

This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.

The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.

Article. VII.

The Ratification of the Conventions of nine States, shall be sufficient for the Establishment of this Constitution between the States so ratifying the Same.

Tea Parties springing up all over the nation...

Looks like the previous post struck a chord across this nation! Not that I am the catalyst, that honor belongs to Santelli, but it seems that I am not alone! Today, I attended the Tea Party here in Houston. Not insanely big, but the people that did show up were nonetheless passionate about the nation, and the criminal kleptocracy that seems to have some sort of magic spell on Weaselton, DC. I don't have an exact number on how many were there, but there seemed to be a coupla-three hundred. I have some pictures, which I'll try to post up here. The speakers were a varied lot, from a young woman who emceed the gathering, to a very fiery preacher who just made sense. There was even a man who brought a pitchfork, festooned with signs. After a time, and after he had been seen by most, the cops came up and had him take it back to the car. No matter, his "point" had been made! I'll see if I can get a pic of him up as well, though it might be a grainy cell-phone shot.

It was great to meet new people, and welcome to those who have checked in here. I'm all for new friends and contributors to my little corner of the cyberspace world. Thanks to all who have checked it out, and to my new buddy who was kind enough to take some photos and forward them on to me! I don't give out names without permissions, and even then, I reserve the right to withhold that information as a means of ensuring privacy.

The Start of the New American Revolution?

When I saw this video, I couldn't believe my eyes and ears- someone actually speaking out against Our Lord And Savior! Perhaps this shall be the spark that ignites the inferno of the the New American Revolution? I know that I have been hearing rumblings more and more frequently lately- and this is just one month into Our Lord And Savior's "Era of Dominion". Seems that more and more, people are starting to rise up against Him, even people that I know voted for Him are starting to admit that He deceived them. All of the warm fuzzies from the Coronation have about worn off, now, and people are starting to see that it's possible that the Emperor has no clothes!

Wall Street clearly does not support Him, as witnessed by the sharp drop on Coronation Day, and the further declines since. We are now at the lowest point since October 2002 on the Dow. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I'm calling bottom at 6400. There is, however, the possibility that I am wrong, and that the DJIA will continue its slide all the way down to the 4000's, but I certainly hope not! The fundamentals on this house of cards point to 6400 being a good, HONEST valuation of the entire market, but we'll see.

I read a great article, which I will link to in a second. If you are worried about your 101(k) [used to be a 401k, but isn't worth squat now, hence the name change], if you've lost 40% or more in the stock market, if you are in the process of losing your home, or like millions of Americans, already have lost it and are now homeless, if your job has been outsourced, or is about to be, you owe it to yourself to understand what is happening behind the scenes. You need to know who is doing this to you, if for no other reason than to be able to name your oppressor(s). Please read the following article carefully, it's chock-full of explanations, in very good detail, about the who's, the why's, and the how's. Perhaps it will help at least one person realize the gravity of our situation, and take steps to prevent some of the shrapnel from hitting.

February 17, 2009 --- The Bush/Obama bailout/stimulus plans are not going to work. Both are schemes hatched by a clique of financial insiders. The schemes will redistribute income and wealth from American taxpayers to the shyster banksters, who have destroyed American jobs, ruined the retirement plans of tens of millions of Americans, and worsened the situation of millions of people worldwide who naively trusted American financial institutions. The ongoing theft has simply been recast. Instead of using fraudulent financial instruments, the banksters are using government policy.

Michael Hudson captures the nature of the heist in CounterPunch (February 12):

“When it comes to cleaning up the Greenspan Bubble legacy by writing down homeowner mortgage debt, the Treasury proposal offers homeowners $50 billion – just [half of one percent] of the $10 trillion Wall Street bailout to date, and less than half the amount given to AIG to pay its hedge fund speculators on their derivative gambles. The Treasury has handed out $25 billion to each and every big bank, so just two of these banks alone got as much as the reported one-quarter of all homeowners in America suffering from Negative Equity on their homes and in need of mortgage renegotiation. Yet today’s economic shrinkage cannot be reversed without a recovery in consumer demand. The economy has lost the “virtual wealth” in higher-priced homes and the stock market, and must rely on after-tax earnings. But I see little concern for wage earners in the Treasury plan. Without debt relief, consumer spending and business investment will not recover.”

The big money men cannot conceive of anyone’s suffering except the mega-rich. If billions are not at stake, what is the problem? How can a family losing its house bring down the economy?

There was a time in America when the interests of elites were connected to those of ordinary Americans. Henry Ford said that he paid his workers good wages so they could buy his cars.

Today American corporations pay foreign workers low wages so CEOs can pay themselves multi-million dollar “performance” bonuses.

Congress has had a parade of CEOs, ranging from Bill Gates of MIcrosoft and IBM brass on down the line, to testify that they desperately need more H-1B work visas for foreign employees as they cannot find enough American software engineers and IT workers to grow their businesses. Yet, all the companies who sing this song have established records of replacing American employees with H-1B workers who are paid less.

Just the other day Microsoft, IBM, Texas Instruments, Sprint Nextel, Intel, Motorola, and scores of other corporations announced thousands of layoffs of the qualified American engineers who “are in short supply.”

IBM has offered to help to relocate its “redundant” but “scarce” American engineers to its operations in India, China, Brazil, Mexico, the Czech Republic, Russia, South Africa, Nigeria, and the United Arab Emirates at the salaries prevailing in those countries.. http://www.informationweek.com/story/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=213000389

On January 28, USA Today reported: “In 2007, the last full year for which detailed employment numbers are available, 121,000 of IBM's 387,000 workers [31%] were in the U.S. Meanwhile, staffing in India has jumped from just 9,000 workers in 2003 to 74,000 workers in 2007.”

In order to penetrate and to serve foreign markets, US corporations need overseas operations. There is nothing unusual or unpatriotic about this. However, many US companies use foreign labor to manufacture abroad the products that they sell in American markets. If Henry Ford had used Indian, Chinese, or Mexican workers to manufacture his cars, Indians, Chinese and Mexicans could possibly have purchased Fords, but not Americans.

Senators Charles Grassley and Bernie Sanders offered an amendment to the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) bill that would prevent companies receiving bailout money from discharging American employees and replacing them with foreigners on H-1B visas.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, no longer an American institution, and immigration advocates, such as the American Immigration Lawyers Association,
immediately went to work to defeat or to water down the amendments. Senator Grassley’s attempt to prevent American corporations from replacing American workers with foreigners on H-1B work visas in the midst of the most serious economic crisis since the Great Depression was met with outrage from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, an organization concerned solely with the multi-million dollar bonuses paid to American CEOs for reducing labor costs by offshoring American jobs or by replacing American employees with foreign guest workers.

On January 23 Senator Grassley wrote to Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer:

“I am concerned that Microsoft will be retaining foreign guest workers rather than similarly qualified American employees when it implements its layoff plan. As you know, I want to make sure employers recruit qualified American workers first before hiring foreign guest workers. For example, I cosponsored legislation to overhaul the H-1B and L-1 visa programs to give priority to American workers and to crack down on unscrupulous employers who deprive qualified Americans of high-skilled jobs. Fraud and abuse is rampant in these programs, and we need more transparency to protect the integrity of our immigration system.

“Last year, Microsoft was here on Capitol Hill advocating for more H-1B visas. The purpose of the H-1B visa program is to assist companies in their employment needs where there is not a sufficient American workforce to meet their technology expertise requirements. However, H-1B and other work visa programs were never intended to replace qualified American workers. Certainly, these work visa programs were never intended to allow a company to retain foreign guest workers rather than similarly qualified American workers, when that company cuts jobs during an economic downturn.

“It is imperative that in implementing its layoff plan, Microsoft ensures that American workers have priority in keeping their jobs over foreign workers on visa programs.

“My point is that during a layoff, companies should not be retaining H-1B or other work visa program employees over qualified American workers. Our immigration policy is not intended to harm the American workforce. I encourage Microsoft to ensure that Americans are given priority in job retention. Microsoft has a moral obligation to protect these American workers by putting them first during these difficult economic times.”

Senator Grassley is rightly concerned that recession layoffs will shield increased jobs offshoring and use of H-1B workers. On February 13, Pravda reported that “America has begun the initial steps to final outsourcing of it’s last dominant industry”--oil/gas and oil/gas services. Pravda reports that “as with other formerly dominant industries, such as light manufacturing, IT, textiles,” recession is “used as the knife to finally do in the workers.”

According to Pravda, “IT is a prime example. The companies used the bust to lay off hundreds of thousands of tech workers around the US and Britain, citing low profits or debt. The public as a whole accepted this, as part of the economic landscape and protests were few, especially with a prospect of the situation turning around. However, shortly after the turn around in the economy, it became very clear that there would be no turn around in the IT employment industry. Not only were companies outsourcing everything they could, under the cover of the recession, they had shipped in tens of thousands of H-1B work visaed workers who were paid on the cheap.” http://english.pravda.ru/world/americas/107104-america_dominant_industry-0

It is rare to find US Representatives and Senators, such as Grassley, who will take a stand against powerful special interests. Some do so inadvertently, forgetting that patriotism is no longer a characteristic of the American business elite. Hoping to stimulate American rather than foreign businesses, the House version of the economic stimulus bill, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, required that funds provided by the bill cannot be used to purchase foreign-made iron, steel, and textiles.

The Senate provision was more sweeping, mandating that all manufactured goods purchased with stimulus money be American-made.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Manufacturers, Caterpillar, General Electric, other transnational corporations, and editorial writers whose newspapers are dependent on corporate advertising set out to defeat the buy American requirement. As far as these anti-American organizations are concerned, the stimulus bill has nothing to do with American jobs or the American economy. It only has to do with the special interest appetites that have the political power to rip off the American taxpayers. [see Manufacturing & Technology News, February 4, 2009]

Senator John McCain is their man. “Protectionism” exclaimed the man the Republicans wanted as president. McCain said the buy American provision would cause a second Great Depression. U.S. Chamber of Commerce President Thomas Donohue said that buying abroad was “economic patriotism.”

The American economic elite are hiding their treason to the American people behind “free trade.”

I want to say this as clearly as it can be said. The offshoring of American jobs is the anthesis of free trade. Free trade is based on comparative advantage. Jobs offshoring is an activity in pursuit of lowest factor cost--an activity that David Ricardo, the originator of the free trade theory, described as the betrayal of one’s own country in pursuit of “absolute advantage.”

The “free market” shills on the payroll of the U.S. Chamber, NAM, and in economics departments and think tanks that are recipients of grants from transnational corporations are whores aligned with elites who are destroying the American work force.

Obama has appointed to his National Economic Council blatant apologists for the offshoring of American jobs.

Possibly Obama loves the country that elevated him to its highest office. But his administration is populated with people whose loyalty does not extend beyond elites to the American people.

This post says it all. This guy "gets it"...

We were looking at Indymac depositors standing in lines in a 30's flashback. Money moves over the internet these days. This kind of capital "flight" sank the "Asian tigers" in the late 90's.

So why hasn't the money gone away? Because there's nowhere to go, except under your mattress or into hard assets. But who wants to buy land or real estate in a falling market? Only the rich with deep enough pockets to have patience. A middle class nest egg has nowhere to go.

They've got us in their system. "They" are the private owners of the monetary system, the shareholders in the 12 Federal Reserve Banks, the owners of most of the equity here and in the world, a wealthy elite that is composed of faces you know well and faces you've never seen. Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, T Boone Pickens, you know. Ben Bernanke, Henry Paulson, The Bush Family, you know. There are approximately 6 million wealthy families and individuals here and around the world you don't know. This is the new global aristocracy, sometimes called the "superclass", in the new global market.

It is their system and it is falling apart. They are working very hard to create a better coordinated and regulated international banking system. Paul Volcker and Paul Krugman, for example, belong to a group called the G 20 and they are working on it.

In the meantime, the people of the US are feeling the panic begin to build. You are not alone citizen, by any means. A question is beginning to form in the mind of the people: why are we so dependent on these rich fucks? Why are we bailing them out? Why is it our states are going bankrupt and we have no money and these rich bastards are paying themselves multi-billion dollar bonuses?

Why do we have a private monetary system that serves the rich and bankrupts the rest of us?

Why, citizen? Have you ever asked yourself that question? Did you even know that the system of money & credit we use is a private system owned and operated by the wealthy elite?

Most people in this country do not know it. They think the "Federal Reserve" means "government". Most people distrust government. They are told over and over ( by the "conservative" faction, which is a mouthpiece for the wealthy elite ) that government is wasteful and inefficient and private business can do it all better.

You probably have no idea that the Congress has little say over how the Federal Reserve spends public money. You think that the "bailout bill" or the "stimulus bill" that Congress votes on shows that the Congress has control over the spending of money. What you don't know is that the $700 billion or the $819 billion is just a small fraction of the money being spent without Congressional approval by the Federal Reserve to support the banks insurance companies and big corporations. About 8.5 trillion has been allocated in various ways that you know nothing about. Credit is being quietly lavished on the banks while there is a big uproar over a pittance of $825 billion or so for the people.

I don't know where Mike Whitney is these days when we need him to explain all this shit to us in his entertaining and scholarly way. Vacation's over, Mike! Get back on the job!

In any case, we've got two ways to go: continue with the private banking system and try to fix it again, which Obama is determined to do, or have a revolution and set up a new banking system, on the model of "The Cook Plan" or the "American Monetary Act" from Stephan Zarlenga and the American Monetary Institute. A public banking system is what we need.

But I am sorry to say that I do not think there are enough Americans who understand what it's all about to be able to challenge the private monetary authorities, the rich and relatively well-organized superclass. At this moment it is becoming better organized while the people are growing hysterical.

The global aristocrats don't want the people to become hysterical. There are far too many of them. If the masses of people run amok, the world is fucked. So the rich will do everything they can to keep the game from collapsing and Paul Kanjorski will help them. He doesn't know how to be anything but a lackey to the rich.

And you have been in that position all your life, as well, citizen. I'm sorry if I sound cruel or uncaring. I am neither. But if you cannot in your own mind describe the kind of alternative monetary system that would better serve the people and not the just rich, then there isn't anything else for you to do but to continue to play the game the rich provide you with and hope it works out...

OK, so most people understand now that Our Lord And Savior, King Of Kings, God Of Gods Barack Obama is exposing Himself as the fraud that He is. He is in WAY over His head, and the American people know it. There are several problems emerging from this administration that really worry me.

First off, let's start with the basic tenets that got Obama named God Of All Heaven and Earth. His platform and promises- we all know that every politician is beyond reproach, and honest to a fault, Obama wouldn't lie to the people who elected him, would he? His mantra of "Hope and Change, and Change, and Hope" was nothing but a bald-faced lie. He is not looking to change a damn thing about the political system in Weaselton, DC. He thrives on it, in fact. His training was in the Chicago political system, which are known for their honesty and transparency. He started as a "community organizer", working with ACORN, that paragon of fairness and virtue, that noble entity seeking to implant truth and *economic* justice to the American political scene. He claimed to be looking to "shake up Weaselton", banning lobbyists and criminals from His cabinet. To date, it has been nothing but a fiasco, as He appoints tax cheats and lobbyists to His Cabinet, and His latest failure was naming Tom Daschle as His Health and Human Services Director. Hmm. Obviously, the term "vetting process" is foreign to the Democratic party, as they could have stopped all of this a year or more ago, had they just properly vetted Our Lord God Obama. Questions still linger about His origins, His place of birth, and even His status as a citizen of the USA. But the complicit, sycophantic media, along with the "Legislate From The Bench" judges, have collectively squashed the truth. If He is indeed a Kenyan, as some are saying (including His own family members, who were there at the hospital in Mombasa, Kenya, when He was delivered), this means He is an interloper. He is trying to set this country on a final course towards financial ruin, despite His rhetoric. "You need to pass My economic StealFromUs bill right now! If you don't, the sky will fall! We need to make sure that My backers get "paid back" for their support...don't think, just act on your urges! Pass My StealFromUs bill before it's too late! Never mind all the pork, we need the "shovel-ready" jobs it'll create! Just pass it, and quit asking questions!" Only problem is, there is little to no jobs being created, just massive, soul-crushing debt that our great-grandkids will have to pay for. And "shovel-ready"? As in, throw the dirt onto the mutilated corpse of our once-great nation now lying in her grave?

Instead of spending like a drunken W, why not stop, take a deep breath, then look at the problems with our economy and rationally decide how to create or reclaim jobs? The most important stimulus that we could have right now is consumer confidence. With the global market cratering, bringing on a worldwide DEPRESSION, not to be confused with recession, that ain't happening. Jobs are going away permanently, and with many of them, our manufacturing capacity. What happens when we can't beat our swords into plowshares? We'll be forced to beat our plowshares into swords, I guess. I have an idea, by Obama! Instead of spending $980,000,000,000.00 on pork-barrel crap that has nothing to do with job creation or economic stimulus, start cutting back on salaries like the rest of us! Drop CONgressional salaries to minimum wage, allow up to $176 a month in food stamps, and let the weasels get a taste of the REALITY that they force upon their constituencies. No more limos replete with drivers in suits, no more cocktail luncheons, bring a pimento-loaf and cheese sammich to work like the rest of us! And get used to taking the bus, Obamadammit!

The arrogance of these people, and their disdain for the "commoners" is truly stunning. Cutting back, like what the corporate weasels are doing, should be matter-of-course for our revered Gods. I have another idea- let's have biennial reviews of their performance, to be conducted by a panel of seven constituents, drawn at random 5 minutes before the review, with a checklist of performance metrics. It'd be just like a real job then- lackluster performance? Sorry, Senator, love the suit, but you gotta go! Spend outside the budget? Forfeit your job, for starters. Hey, where'd you get the private jet? Forfeit that, too. We are not going to pay for that, either. $100,000 Mercedes? How pretentious...we'll take the keys for that. Hold these weasels accountable for every transgression, no matter how trivial, and be willing to fire them on the spot for misconduct. After all, they shouldn't be above the law, should they?

And the media- their obvious and disgusting ass-kissing and general love-fest with the Lord God Obama needs to come to a grinding halt. The editorializing, the gushing over the latest attempt to turn us into a Communist, or at the very least, Socialist nation, the Obama News Network (formerly known as the Cable News Network), this all has to stop. If you want Socialism, go live in Europe. Doesn't work there, either. They are falling apart, and are just as broke.

The sucking up to the Muslim-Arab world won't get us far, either. I don't want to be a Muslim, the Muslims want me to. I refuse to dress my wife up in a bee-keeper's suit just to go out to the store. And I prefer to pick out my own wife, thankyouverymuch. For Our Lord God Obama sayeth unto al-Arabiyah, "Yea, verily I say unto thee, we are your friends; come, then, enter unto our lands upon thine own free will, and do unto us as you wish, for we are weak, thou art strong, and we desireth thine oil..."

Yeah, a big hearty razzberry to Obama. He's not cutting it, he's trying to prep us for conversion to Islam and communism, and let me tell you, that dog don't hunt!

Well, so much has happened in the last few months, I haven't had time to write. I also thought I'd try to give Our Lord and Savior, Barack Insane Obama, a chance. On second thought, that doesn't seem like such a good idea...

It's been pointed out to me by several readers that I appear to be a racist. Let me be perfectly clear on this- I AM NOT, AND WILL NOT EVER BE, A RACIST. I don't care if Obama is black, white, yellow, red, brown, or freaking PLAID! Skin color has never been a criteria of mine in determining whether someone is a good person or not. Or a bad person. Or a demotivated person, or any other adjective. Let me point out something- I have never played the race card in this presidential contest, but Obama and his team sure have played it up. They continue, with Eric Holder's remarks, to fan the flames of racial disparity- but I do not. Who is the real racist here? Not me! The media does it with regularity, but I challenge you, dear readers, to point out where I have been racist. Can't do it, because it doesn't exist. I am not racist, end of story, end of rant. Thank you very much, and help yourself to some mints on the way out...

The whole reason I was pointing out his likely place of birth was because I, and many other Americans, believe he is hiding something.

Why has he not shown his birth certificate? His school records? His funding sources for law school? His claims of "transparency" ring hollow and have an air of deception to them. His cabinet appointments have been disastrous- many of them are tax cheats. If you or I owed $100,000+ to the Infernal Revenue Bureau, how much leeway do you think they'd give us? Try NONE. There is a growing disparity between the Average Joe and the Ultra-Hyper-Elite Politicos, and they are really trying to make that chasm unbridgeable. This is, in my opinion, a deliberate attempt to consolidate and insulate their power. They are raking in massive, pork-fat-encrusted scads of OUR MONEY, and it will NEVER go back into our economy. They are rapists and murderers, and liars to a fault. They do not, and will never, have the nation's interests at heart. This goes for both halves of the political party, Demican and Republicrat. The only argument that interests them is the semantics. This den of thieves is the most dangerous in our nation's history. It's time for them to stop.

Change? The only change I see in this administration is that they are openly admitting tax cheats, lobbyists, and other fraudsters into the club. It's not about the money any more, it's not about the people wanting change. It's about absolute, unrestrained power. The kind that corrupts absolutely. It's about them buying power to push someone's agenda and social engineering on a now-defenseless public. Let's end this charade. It's not becoming. The only change I see is what I can dig out of my couch cushions, or from between the car seats.

Why IS Bush "bailing out the automakers"?

I'll tell you, this is a really good question. The bailout is specifically aimed at GM and Chrysler. I can see GM getting some help, for a number of reasons, not the least of which is the national security of the United States. They make tanks, armored personnel carriers, etc. in times of war (which is where we're headed). But why Chrysler?

Let's look at a few things I realized as I started to think about who might benefit from this. Chrysler is owned by Cerberus Capital, a leveraged buyout firm. Who is Cerberus? Who is involved here? Cerberus is the name of a three-headed dog that guards the gates of Hell, ensuring that nobody who enters can make it to the the shores of the River Styx, and swim back from Hell. Appropriate, for a bunch of corporate raiders. They specialize in buying companies in distress, firing most of the workforce, then selling off anything that is not nailed down. In a year or two, they can show a massive profit and sell the stripped-out shell of a company for even more profit to some other entity. Only after the company has changed hands does it become apparent to the buyer that they've been had. I've personally been through this little exercise several times. You are expected to work a minimum of 12 hours a day, usually 6 days a week, at your regular 40-hour-based salary. You are expected to do the work of 3-4 people in that year or two. Vacation, or time off, is neither available nor tolerated. The principals in the deal get rich off the backs of the few workers left. Really great system, but it is still a big gamble.

So what is the connection between W and Chrysler? Start at the top. The Chairman is none other than John W. Snow, former Treasury Secretary (right before Hank Paulson). Who else is in Cerberus that we might know? Well, Dan Quayle is Chairman of an international division. Who was Dan Quayle? He was George H.W. Bush's VP.

So, is there something to the rumors that W is bailing out Chrysler to save his buddies? I think so. They've plundered nearly $2 Trillion from the US Treasury, and Hank won't let on where it is, who got how much, or anything. This whole sordid situation smells like 3-day old fish left out in the summer.

Keep in mind that Our Lord And Savior, Barack Hussein Obama, has not been crowned yet. We still have another month to go with Dumbya in office, so there is PLENTY of time for him to really ruin America. But we'll all be saved once BHO is Emperor of the United States. After all, he's not corrupt, not with his secrecy and his Chicago political connections. It's all about hope and change, and change and hope. His Holiness Obama is clean as a whistle, pure as the driven snow (or is that John Snow?), the media tells us so. And they wouldn't lie, would they? Would they?

Well, dear readers, it's already starting. Yup, "President" Obama has started to implement his grand socialist, and dare I say, totalitarian policy while still on his campaign. That's right, he's already started it. He kicked several reporters, some of whom had been traveling with him since early 2007, off his plane. The reason? Their employers came out and "endorsed" John McCain. How revealing is that? Shutting down media because they don't agree with your political position is SO USSA. Erp, excuse me, USSR. As in Pravda. Isvestia. The reporters were denied their boarding passes as tried to reboard after a campaign stop, and left stranded to find their own ways back to the office. Isn't that nice. What a fair and noble thing to do. Talking about fair, their seats were given to reporters from more liberal outlets.

I don't get it. How can so many believe in hope and change, when it's Obama's hope to change us into a Marxist (read: communist) nation? What is it about socialism and Marxism that is so attractive? It doesn't work very well in England, Canada, the Netherlands, or any place else it has been foisted upon a populace. Hell, even Russia dumped it. Go ahead, make an appointment with a doctor over there in the UK. Tell them you have only six months to live. They'll give you the first available slot. Too bad it's over a year from now. And don't get me started on "The Big Book Of British Smiles"....

To put it another way, a well-dressed businessman was walking down the street late one afternoon, when he saw a homeless guy wearing a sign. It read "Need money. Can't wait for Obama to help." Being an independent, the man nods a brief greeting to the panhandler, and passes him up. Seeing a sign for a steakhouse a couple blocks down, he heads in for some dinner. He orders his meal, Filet Mignon, medium-rare, garlic mashed potatos, salad, a carafe of wine, and enjoys it very much. The waitress waits on him hand and foot, an he has an absolutely fantastic meal. As he finishes, the waitress approaches him with the check, he notices that she is wearing an Obama button on her blouse. A thought suddenly strikes him, probably right in the forehead. He gets out his wallet, inspects the ticket, and asks the waitress who she's voting for. "Why, President Obama, of course!"

"I see," says the businessman. "What is it about him that makes you want to vote for him?"

"I like his idea on 'spreading the wealth'. He represents hope, and change, and change, and hope."

"Ever hear of Karl Marx?"

"No, why? Is he running for something?"

"No, he isn't. Do you go to college?"

"Yes, I do, as a matter of fact."

"Good, so you've heard of experiments, then?"

"Yes, of course. We do them all the time in school."

"I see. Well, I'd like to do my own little experiment. Would you like to assist me?"

"Well, sure, I guess...what does it involve?"

"It's a political science experiment. You've done a really great job waiting on me, and as the ticket here is $100, that would make a standard tip about $15. Is my math correct?"

The waitress says, "That would be a normal tip, yes."

"Well, you've clearly gone above and beyond the call of duty, this was one fantastic meal. One of my favorites, ever. So how does $25 sound?"

The waitress smiled and said "Wow, that sounds great! Thank you sir! I have a textbook I need that this will just about cover, class starts tomorrow!"

The man reaches in and pulls out a $100 bill, hands it to her and says "Thanks for taking part in my experiment." The waitress looks confused.

"I'm taking your $25 tip and giving it to someone I think needs it more. There's this bum about two blocks down, see, and he's been standing there for at least an hour or two with a sign that reads 'Need money', so I thought I'd take your tip and give it to him. You obviously do pretty well here, so I'm going to 'spread the wealth', so to speak."

"But...but...hey, that's not fair! I waited on you hand and foot, and this is the thanks I get? Who the hell are you to take my money that I earned and give it to some homeless bum?" She stormed away in a self-righteous huff, her eyes shooting daggers at the well-dressed man who had just taken her book money away.

"It's all about hope and change!" the man called after her.

The man walks out, and heads back to the bum with the sign. He walks up, hands the guy the $25 that had been the waitress' tip, and says to the man "This is the tip money I was going to give the waitress down there at the steakhouse. I'm redistributing the wealth today, just like Obama is going to do. I suggest that you go down there, find her, and thank her for working so hard to get this much tip money for you. She'll be easy to spot, she has an Obama button on her blouse."

The bum grabs the money, shoves it deep into his grimy pocket, throws down his sign, and dashes across the street to the liquor store. Two minutes later, he emerges, with a bottle in each hand, and lifts one bottle in salute to his benefactor. Then he disappears down an alley.

Berg v Obama- the "October Surprise"...

Phillip J Berg, Esq, a Philadelphia attorney, filed suit in Federal court on August 21, 2008 against Barack Hussein Obama. The lawsuit asked simply for Mr. Obama (or is it Soetero?) to produce documentation supporting his claims to be the rightful Democratic Candidate for President of the United States. The lawsuit gave 30 days for Mr. Obama (Soetero) to produce his birth certificate. The Obama camp has failed to produce it, and failed to even acknowledge the suit, which is considered an admission of guilt. Most people aren't even aware of this lawsuit. The requirements to be POTUS are simple, three in number, and clearly spelled out in the Constitution of the United States of America. They are:

Candidates must be 35 years of age or older.

Candidates must have lived in the United States for 14 years.

Candidates must be natural-born citizens of the United States.

The natural-born part is where Mr. Obama/Soetero fails the test. The following video explains the legal grounds for this suit. When it was brought against him, the only thing Mr. Obama/Soetero had to do to dismiss this was to produce his birth certificate. His campaign put a document up on the campaign website, but it is suspected to be a forgery for a number of reasons. Mr. Obama/Soetero was actually born in Mombasa, Kenya, and Mr. Berg has an audio recording of Mr. Obama/Soetero's paternal grandmother proclaiming how proud she was that her grandson was going to be President of the United States, and how she was there in the delivery room on that fateful day in August of 1961 when little Barack was born.

After his parents divorced a short time later, Barack Hussein Obama/Soetero's mother, Stanley, married an Indonesian man, also Muslim, who promptly left the US for Indonesia. The family followed. Little Barry Soetero, in his own words, "promptly started school". The country of Indonesia was at war at the time, and the only children in schools at the time were citizens of Indonesia, and only Muslim children at that. Which means that the only way for Little Barry to have attended school at the madrasa in Indonesia would have been if Mr. Soetero had either adopted Little Barry, or if he had "officially recognized" Little Barry. Both carry the same weight, in that the adopted or "officially recognized" child is now a citizen of Indonesia.

The birth certificate presented on Mr. Obama/Soetero's campaign site is a forgery, and so is the one at www.factcheck.org, where Mr. Obama/Soetero served on the board (owned by the Annenberg Group, a Chicago group). Conflict of interest, perhaps?

So, he had a vested interest in concealing his identity. It states clearly above that Mr. Obama/Soetero is a lawyer, where did he get his education? He will not release any records relating to his colleges. He will not release any data on himself at all. He is a Constitutional Law professor, he knows good well he is a fraud, and I suspect that the reason Mr. Obama/Soetero will not release any of his scool records is because he was not a citizen, and used foreign student aid to finance his degrees.

What if?

What if Obama really ISN'T an American citizen? What if his purported Hawaiian Birth Certificate is a fake? What if he magically comes up with a new fake BC while on vacation these next couple days? Who does the background check on our Presidential candidates, anyway?

I submit that Barack Hussein Obama is actually a Kenyan by birth, and in checking through that old worthless piece of paper called the Constitution, which has information in it pertaining to qualifications to be President, it appears that he is NOT QUALIFIED to run. He is a foreigner, was never naturalized, only an obviously fraudulent scanned image claiming to be his birth certificate has been submitted. It is done in a font that DID NOT EXIST when it was supposedly issued, as computers of the day were unable to print in that font.

If this is true, and I believe it to be so, then if Mr. Obama is elected, and assuming he is inaugurated and sworn in, then America has ceased to exist as a nation. The Rule of Law will have been relegated to the circular file, and any and all laws pertaining to our nation will be invalidated. The country will be lost, and it's history and traditions thrown on the trash heap of history, as Mr. Obama makes us into the Union of the Socialist States of America.

Mr. Obama has too many strikes against him for my tastes. Let's review, shall we?

Strike 1- Uncertain legal status of birth, failure to produce a State-certified Certificate of Live Birth (for more on this, see Strike 2, below).

Strike 2- Ignored lawsuits to ascertain whether he really was born in Hawaii by not producing a certified copy of live birth from the Hawaii Department of Public Records. Such a dismissal is considered by many to be an admission of guilt, and he may be going to Hawaii not to visit his ailing grandmother, but to forge a new document. Such a document should be viewed with suspicion, and all alacrity should be exercised in determining it's real origins. Strike 3- His political creation and indoctrination in the living room of Bill Ayres, a known and admitted domestic terrorist with Communist ideology.

Strike 4- By Barack's own admission, he is of a Communist/Socialist bent. When asked about his tax plan by "Joe the Plumber", he told Joe that "he didn't want to punish him for being successful, but wanted to give 'everyone behind him' the chance to be successful by spreading the wealth." His "wealth redistribution" is the prime directive of the Communist platform, and poses a direct threat to the principles this country was founded on.

Strike 5- His long association with his anti-white, anti-American pastor, Rev. Wright. How can someone spend 20 years listening to this "Reverend" and not hear his invective directed squarely at the United States? Actually, directed squarely at the Caucasian-American sector of the United States?

Strike 6- Blatant and overt disregard for campaign laws, specifically, accepting campaign donations from foreign entities. $63 million of that from Islamic nations. What are you telling us there, B.O.? Allegations of his being am Islamist "sleeper" have log been circulating on the internet, but a quick check of the Koran reveals that it is perfectly OK to lie to infidels, it's called
"taquiya", and is telling US what WE want to hear, which then becomes OUR truth. Kind of a twisted form of lying that is specifically allowed under Sharia law. How convenient!

Strike 7- His education in Islamic schools in Indonesia, where he was registered as a Muslim.

Strike 8- The media at large being made puppets of the Obama campaign. Ever notice that there are no stories of McCain, except in passing? Granted, McCain is not a serious Republican, having voted with Obama more times than against him, but still...is this man REALLY our only other choice? This is a fix, McCain was specifically chosen to be the GOP "fall guy". He does not espouse any conservative values, leaving most of America's conservatives without a voice, or even a candidate. His only saving grace is that he's a war hero. He's not exactly stiff competition, unless you were to put him on "Dancing With Former Hollywood Stars", where he would most definitely be "stiff competition". Sorry, John, couldn't resist!

So there is a definite case to be made against Barack Hussein Obama, these are but a few points. I guess we'll see on Coronation Day, Nov 4, as America crowns it's new "Lord and Savior, Barack Hussein Obama"...

So I watched the "debate" between President Obama and Senator McCain, or at least as much as I could stomach before retching and nearly losing my dinner and finally went to sleep. The next morning, I was listening to the radio and started to realize what a great man Obama really is. He transcends issues completely. I heard a "pollster" asking people on the street asking loaded questions about President Obama...

"Sir, who are you voting for?"

"Why, President Obama, of course."

"Can I ask you a few questions?"

"Sure"

"Why are you voting for Obama?"

"Well, I agree with his stance on everything"

"Why are you not voting for McCain?"

"Because I believe in President Obama, he'll give us hope and change, and change, and hope."

"I see. Do you agree with Obama's plan to stay in Iraq up to another 50 years to finish the job and win the war on terror?"

"Oh, yes, absolutely! We need to make sure we've eliminated the threat from the WMD's."

"Do you agree with his position on abortion?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, do you agree with his pro-life stance?"

"Absolutely! Life begins at conception"

"What about his tax-cut plan? Is it better than Senator McCain's plan of taxing the 'rich', people making $250K a year or more and redistributing the wealth to people who don't make $250K?"

"Well, duh! I think cutting taxes should be for everyone! We all need a break in these trying times, it'd get the economy moving again, if we didn't have to worry so much about taxes. I know taxes have cut deep into my budget. If they go up again, I won't be able to afford to take the bus any more!"

"What about President Obama's choice of Sarah Palin as his running mate, think she'll do a good job?"

"Yeah, I'm glad President Obama elected her as VP. I mean, it's about time we had a tough woman in the White House, but at least he picked a woman!"

"What about McCain's choice of Joe Biden as VP?"

"I don't pay much attention to him, he's old and he's white. President Obama is the hope and change this country needs at a time like this!"

What the hell? These people are allowed to VOTE?

What is truly scary, and I mean frightening to the soul, is that all the interviewees I heard COULDN'T EVEN TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ISSUES AND AGREED WITH McCAIN'S POSITION ON EVERYTHING! And beyond that, they didn't even know WHO THEIR CANDIDATES ARE!!!!!! WAKE UP, PEOPLE! PALIN IS McCAIN's VP pick, NOT OBAMA's!

It just goes to show you how the people are being seduced by the silver-tongued, mellifluous dulcet tones of Obama's voice. He starts speaking, and people fall into a trance. I don't, but everyone else around me seems to.

The one question that nobody has the balls to ask is

"Are you voting for Obama because he's black?"

Which is labeled incorrectly as a racist question.

"Well, if you don't vote for him, you MUST be racist!" they say.

I will not vote for President Obama. I am not falling for this group hypnotism. There's fires in LA right now, and every time a bush catches fire, the celebrities run towards it, thinking President Obama is going to speak! Ive' never seen anything like this! It has happened before, though, several times, and with disastrous results. This kind of blind following of a charismatic "leader" happened at the end of the Weimar Republic, when a smooth character who had a gift for public speaking entered their political system, turning it upside down. He'd speak, and people would become transfixed, believing in his hope and change. Economic conditions there were about the same as what we face now, and their government was also as corrupt as ours. He took power, and the only thing that ended it was the rest of the world. His name? Adolf Hitler.

On a beautiful Caribbean island, a tropical paradise, a young, charismatic leader gave speech after speech, and the people belived, blindly. He was known for his "hope and change" and "power to the people" speeches. He took the reins of his tropical paradise, and it is paradise no longer. He was a fiery speaker, and everyone blindly loved him. His name? Fidel Castro.

This time, it's the Unites States. Will we wake up from this nightmare in time to save this nation? I fear that it is too late. President Obama has captivated the American sheeple with his grand plans of "trickle-up poverty", his plans to cap earnings at $250K. Oh, but he says "It's not that I want to punish you for all your hard work and achievement; isn't it more fair that, if you make more than the prescribed cap on earnings, in this case, $250K, that I should take it so 'we' can 'spread the wealth' to those who aren't able to make what you do? That's more fair!" No, that is naked communism.

That totally removes the incentive to work hard and achieve goals. Now that I know that my income CAN NEVER EXCEED $250K, I'll be sure to work hard to make as much money as I can for my family...as long as it stays below $250k. If I have a small business, and we get up to $249,900, I know that I will have to lay everyone off, and shut the business down. Never mind that I have spent 20 years of my life, my blood, sweat, and tears making it to this point, the government will take it away. Better to shut it all down and avoid losing it all. At least I could tell my kids "Sorry kids, but President Obama took daddy's business away." And if it comes to it, I will tell them why. I'll make them read the Communist Manifesto. I'll make them read the history of the Soviet Union, and Nazi Germany. I'll teach them some history. And I will leave this country if need be, and flee to the free markets and societies of Russia, or China. Or India. That's where all the jobs will be.

I need to make everyone aware of something that is happening right now in our history...

WE ARE ALMOST THERE.

We're almost history. Not because of the engineered catastrophe that is the Wall Street Bailout. Not because of the engineered voter fraud that is incorrectly labeled as "free and open elections", no this is something even graver in consequence, and it affects each and every one of us, posing a clear and present danger to our future and our society.

What I'm about to say is going to shock you, but it's all very true, and it is happening now.

We are becoming a fascist dictatorship.

"How the HELL can we be turning into a fascist dictatorship, Amir?"

Good question. It's because the conditions exist at this moment that are exactly the same as Germany in the 1930s, the end of the Weimar Republic, and the playbook in use is the SAME ONE that led to Hitler's rise to power! It is a plan that is insidious and evil, and it has been happening for quite a while. It is "Incrementalism" personified. What's the best way to boil a frog? Put him in a pot of cold water, and incrementally turn up the heat! If you try to pop him in a boiling pot, he'll hop out, burned, perhaps, but surviving.

Those of us who are completely absorbed in our day-to-day survival and turn on "American Idol", or "Dancing with the Former Hollywood Stars" or whatever dreck you use to distract you from the ugly truth that is out there in plain sight BETTER WAKE UP RIGHT NOW! It's almost too late. The pot is almost boiling!

The shift from a democracy to a fascist dictatorship is gradual and calculated. Every step on the path to fascism is mapped out in detail, every "crisis" is carefully planned. The blueprints are available, but are currently being held (and used) by our leaders.

"So, Amir, if you're so smart as to know about the 'blueprints' or 'the plans', how can I get a copy so I can see for myself?"

Glad you asked.

There are basically 8 steps in the shift from freedom and liberty to fascism. Let's go over them.

The very first step is to declare an "enemy". It can be external, or internal. We have both. The external threat is the 'War On Terror'. It gives the people the illusion that they are in danger, and in our case, the enemy is radical muslims buying 'yellowcake'. It is a made up reason, but hey, anything will do. On the internal side, we have "sleeper cells" of islamic fundamentalists hell-bent on attacking us.

Step 2- Secret Prisons. Secret prisons and torture are another hallmark of fascism and dictatorship. They are always outside the rule of law. Gitmo is the largest, and best-known. They systematically torture the prisoners there, which is why the denizens of that prison aren't on anyone's prison pen-pal list. Once systemic torture is going on there, and it is, the eminent dictatorship has the ability to start turning that torture on it's own populace. The tasing of the college kid was an example. "Don't tase me, bro!" They demonize and marginalize the victims at first- these are brown-skinned, muslim extremists that hate us. But as time goes on, they announce that people who don't stand with us, don't agree with us, are now "enemy combatants". We see this with animal-rights activists, political activists, you name it, they can classify you as an "enemy combatant".

Step 3- Establishment of a Paramilitary Force. Hmm. The Germans had the Sturm Abteilung, or SA- the "brownshirts". We have the TSA, or "Twits Standing Around". They are paramilitary in that they wear uniforms, and they have the power to detain and arrest people. They also work the Department of Homeland Defense. Hmm. "Homeland". Sounds an awful lot like "Fatherland" to me, what do you think? We also have another paramilitary outfit known as the Blackwater Group. They specialize in "armed security details", and are active in Iraq, where they were accused of killing a group of 17 Iraqis. But they'll never go on trial. In fact, they quashed that little news tidbit pretty effectively, and instead, put eight US Marines on trial for doing their job. Nice.

Step 4- Establish or create a surveillance apparatus. How many people have you heard about that are on the TSA's "No-Fly List"? Quite a few. The rumor is that everyone has a "file", and nobody is allowed to know what's in it. This creates fear and uncertainty. The excuse given is that it's part of the 'War On Terror', it is for our own 'safety'. Gotta 'protect' the American people! This, too is a smoke screen, and one that is used against us. Soon, people will be turning in their neighbors, kids will be ratting out their parents' political views.

Step 5- Arbitrary Detention and Release. People being made to miss their flights due to being on "The List". Happens with regularity now. In Germany, they had a tall, imposing Nazi at the train station who asked for your travel papers. Here, it's the goons from the TSA sizing you up. If you're on "The List", you are searched and detained, perhaps questioned. If you refuse, you get tasered and jailed. Sound familiar? If the muslims are the threat, how come they won't search the Arabic-looking people? They always seem to pick out the grandmas, the single mom with a small child in a stroller, the college student on break and going home to get this quarter's laundry done. Never the swarthy, Arab-looking guy who has a prayer rug, a copy of the Koran, and giving furtive glances to other Arab-looking men in the waiting area. I wonder why THAT is?
I also never see well-dressed businessmen getting searched and questioned. I guess they might be lawyers.

Step 6- Restrictions on the Press. You might find this one hard to swallow, given the government-media complex, but it's true. Why do you think there is such a media slant? Because they don't want the truth coming out. Anyone who dares report the truth is demonized as a traitor, accused of treason. Look at the "embedded reporters" that were seized in Iraq for trying to report on US atrocities. Also, the government expands almost exponentially the definition of treason and traitorous acts in times like this. Remember Dumbya's "You're either with us, or you're against us" line?

Step 7- In light of the above, all criticism is recast as treason. Anyone going against the program gets labeled a nutjob, a wacko, a traitor. Even pointing out the flagrant abuses and distortions of the Constitution is looked upon as a traitorous act. Remember that Dumbya, early on, delared that the Constitution "is just a worthless piece of paper". Uh-huh. Sounds like a clear case of "do what I say, and nobody gets hurt" to me.

Step 8- Subvert the Rule of Law. This one has been done to death. In times of imminent election, much is done to severely destabilize the economy, the political climate, and people's lives. The recent spike in gasoline prices. The engineered collapse of the world's eceonomy. The polarization of America's single-party system (masquerading as a two-party system). The rampant voter fraud. The corruption in government, not to mention Wall Street. People with no money, living in fear, are MUCH more pliable, remember that. The establishment of a closed society, the Haves vs. the Have-Nothings, is already well into the ninth inning here. This global meltdown of the economy is no accident. It was well-timed, brilliantly executed, and very thorough at destroying the middle class. And it's not even CLOSE to being over, in my opinion. Despots and dictators LOVE having elections. It "validates" them. They employ scare tactics, including having uniformed, sometimes armed, personnel at polling locations. Look at Hitler's elections. He had the Brownshirts outside every voting booth, menacing the people as they went in. The last step is declaration of martial law, which was threatened to the Congress just last week. I hear that the world's markets and banks may be closed down next week or so, for a 5-day "bank holiday", while the leaders of the G7 plan our new currency under the auspices of "fixing the mess". Perfect time for Dumbya to declare martial law, which he gave himself the power to do by Executive Order. Never heard of the Posse Comitatus Act? Here is some info...

HR5122 also known as the John Warner Defense Authorization Act was signed by the president on Oct 17, 2006 John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2007. Section 1076 Text of Hr5122 is titled "Use of the Armed Forces in major public emergencies". Removing the legalese from the text, and combining multiple sentences, it provides that: The President may employ the armed forces to restore public order in any state of the United States the president determines hinders the execution of laws or deprives people of a right, privilege, immunity, or protection named in the Constitution and secured by law or opposes or obstructs the execution of the laws of the United States or impedes the course of justice under those laws. The actual text is on page 322-323 of the legislation. As of 2008, these changes were repealed, changing the text of the law back to the original 1878 wording, under Public Law 110-181 (H.R. 4986, Section 1068,) however in signing H.R. 4986 into law President Bush attached a signing statement which indicated that the Executive Branch did not feel bound by the changes enacted by the repeal.

Which essentially gives him the power to deploy US troops, on US soil, to put down uprisings or "civil unrest". Hmm...like declaring a national emergency due to financial terrorism, George? Gonna try to "slap us down"?

It's almost too late, people. I STRONGLY URGE YOU TO VOTE OUT ALL INCUMBENTS, REGARDLESS OF PARTY MEMBERSHIP. We need to be very vigilant about the abuses that are happening right now, every day, and the accumulation of power in Weaselton, DC, that has been the hallmark of Dumbya's presidency. For the Presidential part of this, it appears we have no choice, but in fact we DO. Write in a third-party candidate! DO NOT go into the voting booth unarmed...gain some knowledge of who your Congress-schmoo is, who your Senator is. OUR VERY LIVES DEPEND ON THIS ELECTION.

And no, I'm not being venal or sarcastic, here, THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION IN US HISTORY!

And if things go bad before the election, RISE UP AND PROTECT YOUR NATION FROM THE INVADERS WITHIN!

I truly hope it doesn't go down that road, but if it does, BE PREPARED.

Have guns and ammo, and DO NOT surrender it to the handsome man in the spiffy uniform who says he is from the government, and he's here to help. He will tell you that giving up your gun is for your own protection, and for the safety of the nation as a whole. HE LIES.

Have a source of food, as the supermarkets will be closed, and even IF you find one open, they will devalue the dollar so much that it will take your entire 401k to buy a loaf of bread!

Have a source of power, like a generator, and the FUEL TO RUN IT. They may try to disrupt the power grid to keep people "in the dark", not only figuratively, but literally. Great way to demoralize a populace.

Have something of value, we may have to resort to the barter system for a while.

We are in GRAVE DANGER as a nation. These are trying times, isn't it TIME FOR YOU TO TRY?

Wall Street Weasels get their Welfare...

There was a simple solution the banking crisis:

Guarantee ALL normal banking deposits. That's what European countries are doing.

With bank deposit guarantees, individuals and real businesses would have access to their money and to normal credit.

But the White House took a different path...

A multi-trillion dollar "no strings attached" checkbook controlled by the White House through the Treasury Department to buy the toxic assets of Wall Street and other reckless investors.

Who will pay?

The US tax payers.

Who will benefit?

Wall Street CEOs, their deep pocket clients here and abroad and members of the Bush regime.

What will the US do in the future when it needs money to repair crumbling infrastructure, take care of public health, and deal with natural and man made catastrophes?

The answer will to all these problems will be simple and consistent: We have no money.

How did this insane legislation get passed?

Congressman Brad Sherman lays it out:

* Fraud (fake phone calls from paid stooges in support of the bill),
* Bribery (hundreds of pages of pork added to the bill by the Senate at the last minute), and
* The threat of government violence (the claim that without the bailout martial law was a certainty.)

All of this is morally, ethically, universally WRONG! Poor Mr. Sherman is probably marked for death now, for telling the truth.

The truth of the matter is, all of this could have been avoided, but for one thing- greed. The "Fractional Reserve Banking System" is a fraud, a big lie. It allows banks to create the illusion of having wealth, when in fact, they are debtors to the printing presses that make their fiat currency. They get deposits from you and me, then proclaim that they have money to loan. In a simple, lawyer-free world with morals, if you have the money to lend, you can lend it. However, it gets trickier when you start trading in speculative debt instruments, such as what we face now. CDSes, or "Credit Debt Swaps", are essentially legalized casino gambling engaged in by banks to make insane profits on the defaults of loans. Our National Debt is now measured at somewhere around $53 TRILLION dollars. OK, you say, I can't count that high, I don't have enough fingers and toes. No matter. The principle of leverage is at work here, making your $400 paycheck you deposit do the work of $4,000,000. But not for you, wage slave annoyance. The BANK is using your money to leverage it's loans.

The Fractional Reserve Banking concept allows banks to overstate it's holdings by a rate according to it's ratings. For instance, Bank 1 has an arrangement with the Fed to have access to capital 10 times it's net deposits. Since it has 10 million in physical deposits, it can therefore lend out 100 million. Bank 2 down the street deals less in the retail banking sector and instead concentrates more on commercial loans. It has 10 million in physical deposits, and it's arrangement with the Fed is for 36 times holdings. So it now has 360 million to lend. It simply accesses the funds through the Fed, and cuts it's loan checks. Usually, the bigger the bank, the higher the margin it has. So, the behemoth banks had multipliers as high as 100 times holdings, and lots of their loans were subprime. What they did to minimize risks was to develop CDSes as a way of "self-insuring". They'd get together with other banks, package up the loans they had out, and sell the packages to each other. That way if one defaulted on a mortgage, it was bundled up in a package held by one or more other banks. That's fine and dandy if you only have one or two loans go bad. But when a sizable chunk went bad, it was MUCH harder to cover. That's really basic, but it is where we are now. Banks won't loan to each other, there are massive collapses due to these WMD's of the banking world, and everyone pays. A friend of mine put it cleverly- "Everyone got pregnant and nobody wants the responsibility."

My newest question is pointed squarely at Henry Waxman. While Henry was grilling Mr. Fuld in the starchamber, he asked some very pointed questions, and in the spirit of the lying weasel that he is, Fuld hemmed and hawed about his appointing a "compensation committee" to help him loot $480 million from the company. When pressed on the issue, Fuld stated that the figure "was more like $250 million that I took out of the company". Ah, that makes it OK, I guess.

WHERE WAS WAXMAN'S LEADERSHIP? He had the perfect opening right there to demand that Fuld return his ill-gotten gains to the people he screwed over! All these pinheads that CEO these failed institutions are getting multi-million-dollar golden parachutes when their toy banks fall over, yet nobody has even suggested that their gains be put towards the bailout, when it was their decisions that put us in this mess? Wax-man also had the power under the rules of the house and senate to have Mr. Fuld taken into custody right then and there, but he failed in his moral obligation to do so. That power comes from way back, when we used to have something like a template to be used in case of emergency- the US Constitution! But that is just a worthless piece of paper nowadays. We're expected to abide by it, yet they are not. Why have the rules changed under George "Dumbya" Bush? In Clinton's term, Duke Cunningham, a decorated Vietnam ace, got 9 years in prison for selling off an old Rolls-Royce and a moth-eaten yacht, getting about a million more than their true worth. So we have a decorated war hero rotting in prison for making a 1 million dollar profit and these weasels from Wall Street get away with billions and stick us with the bill? How dare they! How dare Congress and Senate abrogate their responsibility to us, the people!

And McCain did nothing. Where was HIS leadership? He could have stood up and demanded that Fuld's property be forfeit, or at least embarrassed Fuld into giving back at least a portion of it to help us out with the bailout. While he didn't have enough to pay for the whole thing, I'm relatively certain his $480 million, when combined with his $14 million house in Florida and his $8 million summer cottage in Sun Valley, Idaho, and the houseful of million-dollar artwork could have gone a long way in helping to ease OUR burden! These Wall Street tycoons are getting away with the single biggest theft in world history, and are doing so with the tacit consent of the very people we "elected"! These bastards don't deserve to go to jail, they deserve a good crucifixion! Then throw their rotting corpses UNDER the jail!

McCain has lost this election, and he knows that he is the GOP "Fall Guy" this time around. If the GOP were serious about winning the election, they would have chosen someone like Romney. Yet another reason that the elections are a scam. Diebold has leaked the results to the media already, they programmed Obama to win by a landslide. I think the numbers I saw were 58% for Obama...

Until we, the people, organize and revolt, there will be no change. All of our well-placed and well-deserved rage against the ruling elite will be registered, but not counted. It will be just that much more "pissing into the wind", and you know what that means- it all comes back on us. So it's time for the American people to rise up, grab OurPitchforksAndTorches, and take our country back!

Congress and Senate inFATuated with PORK...

Friends, I think I've reached my "tipping point". We have lost this once-great nation, and now face tyranny, despotic regimes, and financial terrorism. The bill that was passed today was basically the same bill that was presented earlier and rejected, but this time, they "sweetened the pot". Not with sugar, Equal, Pink Stuff, or Splenda, but with pork. Last I checked, pork wasn't real high on my list of things I put in my iced tea or on my cereal. And you can forget about baking cookies with it!

Instead, our elected "leaders" submitted to the siren song of panic, the gentle lullaby of the unzipping of Wall Street's fly, and bent over for them once again! They stuffed the already bad bill with pork, "earmarks", and totally ignored their constituents' wishes- hell, it was more like rage, let's be clear here- and gave the money junkies on Wall Street their fix. Screw Main Street!

No, SCREW YOU, WEASELTON!

I have devised a plan that I hope turns into an Internet frenzy, just like the fans of "Jericho" accomplished, extending a canceled show....

I plan on mailing pork products to my Senators who let us down and told us to stick it. They LEFT before the ink was dry on the check they gave to Paulson and his band of thieves, after upping the tab to you and I to almost a TRILLION DOLLARS. I don't care WHO you are, that's REAL MONEY! OUR money, to be more precise. Our voice was NOT heard by the government, they care not about you or me. They only care about their banker friends. And why not? Those who voted FOR this stinking, slimy piece of garbage that hands all the power of our monetary system to ONE MAN were rewarded with 40% MORE "contributions" from the financial sector than those who voted AGAINST the bill. In the Senate, the ratio changed a little bit, with the Yeas getting 140% MORE than those who listened to the people!

So, when I mail my little packages of pork (sausage, pig ears, casings, snouts, organ meat, head cheese, and any other nasty piece of offal I can find), I will include a note, but no dry ice. It will read something along the lines of "In appreciation of your love for PORK!" on a nice little gift card. I encourage you to tell everyone you know to do the same. Maybe they'll get some semblance of a clue when they eventually return and smell the fruits of their labors!

Rum producers in the Caribbean get more than people wiped out here on the Gulf Coast, and they bailed out on voting on issues such as extending tax cuts for average Americans, extending unemployment benefits for those losing their livelihoods because of the mess the Fat Cats made. Greed and bribery are the best thing since sliced bread! THAT is the grease that keeps the wheels of Government grinding!

Black Monday victory?

Well, dear reader, I missed the mark on the depth of the first plunge, but only by a little bit. I told you this morning that I expected a 300-point drop, perhaps twice that. Instead, we got a 700-point drop, which, while the single biggest point drop in history, is still not quite as big as the percentage-point drops suffered in the original Great Depression or the 1987 debacle. Still, it points out that there is panic in the halls of the would-be kings of the banking world, and this may not be such a bad thing. The people have risen up and expressed a near-violent outrage against oiling the wheels of the machine that has functioned to enrich the few on the backs of the many. I applaud all of you who took the time to write, call, or send smoke signals to your elected officials regarding this matter. It appears that we do have a voice in this republic after all! To have ignored this would have placed the Congress in the untenable position of having to "fall on the sword", not once, but repeatedly.

And shame on you, Nazi Pelosi, for calling the Republicans who "didn't come to the table" as being "unpatriotic". You locked them out, you had them thrown out of meetings, you tried to sneak "earmarks" into this bill that had NO PLACE in it. You also were only too willing to grant Hank Paulson virtually unlimited powers to buy ANY assets he deemed necessary to preserve his profits, and likely your own profits as well, including bad foreign-owned financial instruments. I have no respect for you or your gang of thieves, shame on you for trying to give our country away. There is a reason your Demican/Republicrat party turned their backs on you and your siamese twin Jorge Arbusto, and that reason is US! We, the people! We spoke, our representatives listened, for once, and defeated the bill you and Jorge tried in vain to shove down our throats. The reason for your secrecy and your rush to pass this legislation? I have my suspicions that you, too, are making bets against the economy, shorting the US economy, as it were. YOU are the unpatriotic one, Grandma! I am ashamed of you, and those of your ilk!

For the rest of us on Main Street who pushed back against this bad piece of legislation, please- keep it up. Be involved. This is but a small victory in the taking back of America. The monsters on Wall Street are very much against Main Street, don't let their lies and perversions of the truth fool you. They are out to make a buck. Your buck. We need more vigilance, more involvement in our government than we have been given to exercising lately. Our complacency has nearly cost us our very freedom, and the attacks came from within. Nice to see not everyone was asleep at the wheel this time- don't nod off now. They will try again by the end of the week.

When they DO try, look at the bill as it is drafted. Look carefully for protections for the common man, look for true oversight- the dead bill had an oversight committee consisting of Paulson, Cox, the Secretary of HUD. THAT, my friends, is giving the fox the keys to the henhouse! Not wise, even by today's lax standards! Look also for unbridled power to be given to either Paulson, or one (or more) of his cronies, such as the Federal Reserve Board, or even the GAO. Watch for tricks in the wording that will allow great latitudes in powers, or in what types of financial instruments are allowed to be bought or sold. What we really need right now is a complete overhaul of the system, but the weasels of Wall Street are screaming for more cash. They're pathetic, like junkies looking for their next fix. It sickens me. The crafters of this bill also told us (Hank Paulson & friends) that there would be "protections against golden parachute clauses". That, dear readers, was an outright lie. The only thing mentioned in the bill that referred to "excessive compensation" was a small passage that said "Excessive compensation will be levied a tax at the rate of 20% on the excessive gains of the top 5 persons leaving any firm". Not even what I pay on my puny salary! And it opens the door to the "carryout profits buffet". Just underpay the next 5 in line, and have them carry the profits out the door and to the alley, where the top fat cats will be waiting in the line of limos. Thievery. Utter trash.

I expect tomorrow's market will see a 400-800 point drop, especially since the European markets are undergoing their own bank failures right now (Fortis). In fact, some are calling for up to a 4-6,000 point drop in the Dow before we settle out. That, my friends, is what I call devastating. But it can happen. Be prepared, as much as you can. Unemployment will likely exceed 10% in the coming months. I don't think that it will be as bad as the 1930's, when unemployment hit a whopping 25%, but it could get close. The difference this time is that firms aren't experiencing as much contraction to preserve capital as before. With the credit market bone-dry, I don't expect to see too much growth, but it may not be the end of the world.

So, be aware of every penny for the time being, and don't spend needlessly. We must prepare ourselves for a new paradigm- living on what we truly need, not on what we truly want. We will adjust to this new lifestyle, I already have. Sure, I have some toys, I'm not rich, I live in a modest little home in a modest little neighborhood, and I don't own a single new car. I also don't have as much debt as most average Americans, which is good. But I also don't have as big a cushion as I'd like. I'm working on that part, and so should you.

Happy "Black Monday" to you all, and celebrate the victory, but not too much, there is still a very large war, and this is but one small battle. Be brave, have courage, and know that "we done good" this time.

And the hangman pulls the lever....

Get ready people. We are standing on the gallows, and the hangman has pulled the lever. The floor we were standing on is falling away now, and we are starting our plummet. Don't worry, it's not the drop that will kill you, it's the suden stop at the end, with the rope tightening and the knot on our left ear snapping our head off to an impossible angle. I wonder how many times our feet will twitch?

Main Street is just about there. We are on the cusp of a major revolution. We the people are getting VERY ANGRY at what is perceived as the big guys preserving their buddies' "golden parachute funds". The time has come.

The only thing that will stop the situation at this point would be to hold the elections today, and have everyone vote out the incumbents, and write in a candidate for president that is not currently on the ticket. But that isn't going to happen. What they'll do is fund this trillion-dollar "bailout" of the financial sector. This is not for our own good, I'm telling you. This is not capitalism, it is fascism, pure and simple. And we're going to let this happen? I've been writing that this country is in a death spiral for a while now, and I'm predicting at least a 300-pt drop in the Dow today, perhaps double that. The market is broken, and our fearful leaders are taking the cash register and going home.

What about the average Joe Sixpack? The gang of thieves in Weaselton DC seem content to saddle us with the bill while they print ever more worthless fiat currency known as the "almighty dollar". The "almighty dollar" is looked upon with scorn in the world now, they see how thin the trappings of "success" are, they know we are going down for the count, and accordingly are saying "thanks, but no thanks" to our overtures for more investment here. The world's capital has dried up, the ATM is now unplugged. This nation's excessive, consumer-driven expenses are coming home to roost, and the waiter has just slipped us the bill. Our goose has been cooked, and the people know it.

This situation is being seen as "the beginning of the end" by most. I see it as the "end of the beginning". It's going to get much, much worse. If you were planning, like me, to retire at some point and enjoy "the golden years", please be aware that you will now have to work for approximately 137 more years, if you are nearing retirement. Your "golden years" are now a "lead ballon"- unless, of course, your name happens to be Bush, Cheney, Paulson, Bernanke, or Cox. Or the name of any CEO on Wall Street. That is where my little daughter's future is being sold out.

Despite Bush's "the sky is falling" speech, I don't buy for a second the specter of total anihilation of the markets if we let Goldman-Sucks fail. It will be yet another bank failure. We have seen large firms fail before- witness Enron, and the dreadful knee-jerk reaction of the politicos known as "Sarbanes-Oxley Act". That one crippled normal businesses, in an effort to "protect the shareholders". It was supposed to result in more transparency, but the net result is that no company can do anything without going through a checklist of Byzantine proportion, and a whole industry developed around it to siphon off profits. Entire corps of lawyers and accountants sprung up from the ashes of the failed energy giant. Think of what it will be like now, er, "going forward", to use a now common biz-speak term.

Protect your assets, and invest in commodities like gold and silver, and lead. It's time to rise up, unified, grab OurPitchforksAndTorches, and put this matter to rest once and for all. Greed is NOT good. It is the cancer that has taken over this nation, and driven us to ruin.

$700 Billion dollar reward for screwing our economy?

Well, Bush and his Gang of Thieves certainly are pushing hard for this "bailout". Having just been through Hurricane Ike, I turned to my government for some assistance. I asked for the really huge and expensive assistance, to the tune of about $5. I just wanted some ice and water. But that help never came. I was eventually able to find ice, at $2.19/bag. But someone else in my neighborhood brought some water to us, and we survived.

I asked my lenders for a bit of help coping with this national disaster, and was rebuffed with a hearty "Sorry, pay your bill. No help for you, and no, you can't have one payment put off to the end of the loan."

I was charged $75 to cancel my flight.

My cruise line cheerfully refunded my money in full for our December cruise that we can no longer go on. They will get my booking next time.

What irks me is that I was given no quarter, no relief from ANYONE from this storm, despite living less than 10 miles from where Ike rumbled ashore, and the eye passed directly over my house. I wasn't asking for a lot of assistance, just a little relief from the ravages of the storm. Enough breathing room to not go under. What I got was the proverbial "sharp stick in the eye".

After 13 days, we finally have power. Life will return to normal.

What will NOT return to normal, in my opinion, is the venereal, er, venerable, institutions known as "Wall Street". What they are doing is asking us, the taxpayer, to foot the bill for the multi-million-dollar "exit packages", the bonus that executives get for ruining a company and sending it into the abyss of history. They want us to bail them out, to save them from the abyss they threw themselves into through bad decision-making, and plain, unadulterated greed. They want us to save them from the fires of hell with our own money. I am against this "plan". They want US to give them more money? After they have plundered the US treasury, ruined our economy, offshored our jobs, debased our currency, robbed my children of their futures, and now they want to saddle us with even MORE DEBT? The kind that takes generations to pay off? Are they insane? We're supposed to trust these vermin? We're supposed to give them even more money to reward them for this thievery? No. Not only no, but HELL NO! These people have nothing in the game. I would make this loan only under the following conditions-

1) All profit comes back to the people after the principal is paid, and with a stiff penalty.

2) All property, including thier personal residences, retirement accounts, golden parachutes, and stock options, all bank accounts, cash, and vehicles should be immediately forfeit. They can serve as the "down payment", so to speak. Let's get these bastards to have some "skin: in the game.

3) Immediate cancellation of all bonuses and regular salary for the CEOs of the affected companies. Put those twoard the repayment of this debt. They can have it back if and when the markets recover.

What is happening with Bush and cronies proclaiming the end of the world if we don't approve their looting of the Treasury is nothing short of financial terrorism. It's like rewarding the captain of the Exxon Valdez with a bigger ship full of oil, and a case of Scotch to go with it. If my banks won't even grant me ONE DEFERRED PAYMENT to help me get past a declared national disaster, why should I be expected to give my child's future to them? Let Goldman Sachs fail. It would probably do MORE for the world economy's trust to let them fail than to reward bad behavior with saddling the taxpayer with debt and risk.

What they are doing, in a nutshell, is giving us the risk while they reap the rewards. This is flat-out WRONG. It is thievery, plain and simple. "Hank" Paulson was the CEO of Goldman Sachs up until 2 years ago. Why would he give up the $16Billion bonuses and the salary of that job for a $400,000 a yr job in the government, unless he knew that this was going to happen? He was one of the architects of this destruction, let him enjoy the reward of seeing his creation through. Let him give up all his ill-gotten gains. Let him feel the pain he is causing us. He earned it!

We need to get out OurPitchforksAndTorches and give ol' Hank a sharp stick in the ass. Just like he's doing to us! How's it feel, Hank?

McCain/Palin

So McCain has gone against all conventional wisdom and picked a "hockey mom" as his running mate. This is an obvious ploy to garner the displaced female voters that were going to vote for Hillary- he obviously does not think that the American people are smart enough to figure it out. Here is a woman at 42, a recent mother to a Down's Syndrome child (they require extensive care due to their condition, especially in the early years), governor of Alaska for two years. Before that she was a mayor of a town of 6,000. That's her entire political experience. She apparently has a reputation for fighting corruption, and garnered the nickname "Sarah Barracuda" during her high school years playing basketball. She was also a beauty pageant contestant. And this is McCain's choice to take the reins should he become ill, or, heaven forbid, die in office?

In the Democrat's corner is a previously unknown city councilman from Chicago, home of the notoriously corrupt Richard Daley political family, who Obama has close ties with. He also has some very shady associates, including Bill Ayers, former Weatherman (Communist group) and terror bomber of the 60s-70s. His ideology included such gems as:

"Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, Kill your parents."

Nice guy, huh. And Barack Hussein Obama claims him as a mentor. Hmmm. So I'd have to assume that the liar Obama actually stands for the "redistribution of wealth", which is a code word for "Communist", and I'm not too far off in my assumption. If you listened at all to his speech at the DNC, where he assumed the mantle of President-Elect a tad early, he is a magnetic and charismatic speaker on camera. But then, so was Hitler, and look what he did for Germany. The parallels are staggering. He came out ot nowhere, made grandiose speeches, was adored by the populace...then he took power and showed his real face. We're witnessing the same thing. The architecture of the stage alone is enough to make me wonder- the Greco-esque columns, like a mutant Parthenon of Greece for him to speak as Zeus, you gotta wonder about his ego...

Now the hockey mom, Sarah Palin, may end up being more of a liability than an asset, with her lack of experience. Despite her lack of experience, she has been in charge of the National Guard up there for a couple years. Not exactly battle-tested. But I'd take her and McCain over Obama's promise of change, especially since his change might be to make us a communist nation. Of course, we'll all have our own rainbows and ride unicorns if he's elected, but I'm hoping that I won't have to see that. Besides, it'll be hard to load up a unicorn with household goods and ride it to another country. I'm thinking that if we become an Obamanation, I'll have no choice but to leave the country and never turn back.

We're in for a weird election season. I'm getting really tired of having to choose the lesser of two evils. Many people I talk to tell me of their frustrations as well. Perhaps this Barracuda chick will have some influence in cleaning up Weaselton, DC, before they corrupt her, too. That wouldn't be such a bad thing...

The way I see it, we have a disproportionate amount of corporate corruption, a dysfunctional, puppet media, and lobbyists who decide what is best for us. It would behoove the government to cede power back to the people where it belongs, rather than trying to be all things to all corporations, people be damned. But unless we can get rid of the corruption and reign in the influence peddlers, as well as get the media to report on the things that matter, I don't see this country being here for a 2012 election. It's time we grabbed OurPitchforksAndTorches, and inform our neighbors of the danger we really face.

Operation Brimstone ended only one week ago. This was the joint US/UK/French naval war games in the Atlantic Ocean preparing for a naval blockade of Iran and the likely resulting war in the Persian Gulf area. The massive war games included a US Navy supercarrier battle group, an US Navy expeditionary carrier battle group, a Royal Navy carrier battle group, a French nuclear hunter-killer submarine plus a large number of US Navy cruisers, destroyers and frigates playing the "enemy force".

The lead American ship in these war games, the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN71) and its Carrier Strike Group Two (CCSG-2) are now headed towards Iran along with the USS Ronald Reagon (CVN76) and its Carrier Strike Group Seven (CCSG-7) coming from Japan.

They are joining two existing USN battle groups in the Gulf area: the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN72) with its Carrier Strike Group Nine (CCSG-9); and the USS Peleliu (LHA-5) with its expeditionary strike group.

Likely also under way towards the Persian Gulf is the USS Iwo Jima (LHD-7) and its expeditionary strike group, the UK Royal Navy HMS Ark Royal (R07) carrier battle group, assorted French naval assets including the nuclear hunter-killer submarine Amethyste and French Naval Rafale fighter jets on-board the USS Theodore Roosevelt. These ships took part in the just completed Operation Brimstone.

The build up of naval forces in the Gulf will be one of the largest multi-national naval armadas since the First and Second Gulf Wars. The intent is to create a US/EU naval blockade (which is an Act of War under international law) around Iran (with supporting air and land elements) to prevent the shipment of benzene and certain other refined oil products headed to Iranian ports. Iran has limited domestic oil refining capacity and imports 40% of its benzene. Cutting off benzene and other key products would cripple the Iranian economy. The neo-cons are counting on such a blockade launching a war with Iran.

The USS Iwo Jima and USS Peleliu Expeditionary Strike Groups have USMC Harrier jump jets and an assortment of assault and attack helicopters. The Expeditionary Strike Groups have powerful USMC Expeditionary Units with amphibious armor and ground forces trained for operating in shallow waters and in seizures of land assets, such as Qeshm Island (a 50 mile long island off of Bandar Abbas in the Gulf of Hormuz and headquarters of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps).

The large and very advanced nature of the US Naval warships is not only directed at Iran. There is a great fear that Russia and China may oppose the naval and air/land blockade of Iran. If Russian and perhaps Chinese naval warships escort commercial tankers to Iran in violation of the blockade it could be the most dangerous at-sea confrontation since the Cuban Missile Crisis. The US and allied Navies, by front loading a Naval blockade force with very powerful guided missile warships and strike carriers is attempting to have a force so powerful that Russia and China will not be tempted to mess with. This is a most serious game of military brinkmanship with major nuclear armed powers that have profound objections to the neo-con grand strategy and to western control of all of the Middle East's oil supply.

The Russian Navy this spring sent a major battle fleet into the Mediterranean headed by the modern aircraft carrier the Admiral Kuznetsov and the flagship of its Black Sea Fleet, the Guided Missile Heavy Cruiser Moskva. This powerful fleet has at least 11 surface ships and unknown numbers of subs and can use the Russian naval facility at Syria's Tartous port for resupply. The Admiral Kuznetsov carries approximately 47 warplanes and 10 helicopters. The warplanes are mostly the powerful Su-33, a naval version (with mid-air refueling capability) of the Su-27 family. While the Su-33 is a very powerful warplane it lacks the power of the stealth USAF F-22. However, the Russians insist that they have developed a plasma based system that allows them to stealth any aircraft and a recent incident where Russian fighters were able to appear unannounced over a US Navy carrier battle group tends to confirm their claims. The Su-33 can be armed with the 3M82 Moskit sea-skimming missile (NATO code name SS-N-22 Sunburn) and the even more powerful P-800 Oniks (also named Yakhonts; NATO code name SS-N-26 Onyx). Both missiles are designed to kill US Navy supercarriers by getting past the cruiser/destroyer screen and the USN point-defense Phalanx system by using high supersonic speeds and violent end maneuvers. Russian subs currently use the underwater rocket VA-111 Shkval (Squall), which is fired from standard 533mm torpedo tubes and reaches a speed of 360kph (230mph) underwater. There is no effective countermeasures to this system and no western counterpart.

A strategic diversion has been created for Russia. The Republic of Georgia, with US backing, is actively preparing for war on South Ossetia. The South Ossetia capital has been shelled and a large Georgian tank force has been heading towards the border. Russia has stated that it will not sit by and allow the Georgians to attack South Ossetia. The Russians are great chess players and this game may not turn out so well for the neo-cons.

UPDATE 8 August 2008 ~ War has broken out between Georgia and South Ossetia. At least 10 Russian troops have been killed and 30 wounded and 2 Russian fighter jets downed. American Marines, a thousand of them, have recently been in Georgia training the Georgian military forces. Several European nations stopped Bush and others from allowing Georgia into NATO. Russia is moving a large military force with armor towards the area. This could get bad, and remember it is just a strategic diversion....but one that could have horrific effects. DEBKA, the Israeli strategy and military site, states that Israeli military officers are advising the Georgian armed forces in combat operations and that 1,000 Israelis are in-combat on the side of Georgia at this time.

Kuwait has activated its "Emergency War Plan" as it and other Gulf nations prepare for the likelihood of a major regional war in the Middle East involving weapons of mass destruction.

The two-ton elephant in the living room of the neo-con strategy is the advanced biowar (ABW) that Iran, and to a lessor extent Syria, has. This places the motherlands of the major neo-con nations (America, France, the United Kingdom), as well as Israel, in grave danger. When the Soviet Union fell the Iranians hired as many out-of-work former Soviet advanced biowar experts as possible. In the last 15 or so years they have helped to develop a truly world class ABW program utilizing recombination DNA genetic engineering technology to create a large number of man made killer viruses. This form of weapon system does not require high tech military delivery systems. The viruses are sub-microscopic and once seeded in a population use the population itself as vectors. Seeding can be done without notice in shopping malls, churches, and other public places. The only real defense to an advanced global strategic biowar attack is to lock down the population as rapidly as possible and let those infected die off.

Unless the public gets it act together and forces the neo-cons to stop the march to yet another war in the Middle East we are apt to see a truly horrific nightmare unfold in OUR COUNTRIES.

This article is troubling on so many levels it's not funny...there is a real possibility that our beloved leader, GWB, is going to press some buttons he has no business pressing. And that may be the end of life as we know it.

It's a play to grab most of the Middle East for the US. Actually, our "leaders" don't give a rat's ass about the people or histories of the countries, what the powers that be care about is OIL. Control that, and you control the world's commerce. There is another piece at work here, also behind the scenes, and it is named Codex Alimentarius. Look up Monsanto's "Terminator Seeds". I firmy believe that the world's elite is out to cut the population of the globe by around 90%. Don't remember where I heard it, but about 15 years ago, I was moving across the country from California to Georgia, and was listening to talk radio at night through the Sonora Desert. There was a guy on who was talking about a plan of the world's elite, given the rapidly dwindling resources (food, water, oil), to reduce the population of the world through warfare and starvation, and for the US (or what was left of it) to emerge as the leader of a unified world government. The figures that he gave were shocking, as the top elite of the world that control 99% of the global resources number only about 6-7000. Those people with the resources would survive, most of the rest would die. The survivors of the coming war would be the new slave class, and would serve their new masters. I recall the names of the CFR and the Bilderberg Group being mentioned, as well as timeline target of 2009. After looking into the Codex, which was an idea by a Nazi first put into effect in the early 60s, I realized why 2009 stuck out so much- that's when the Codex Alimentarius becomes the law of the world, criminalizing foods, medicines, even vitamins and drugs, unless they are produced by a consortium of very large companies. Those companies include Monsanto, which is why I mentioned the Terminator program. It will force almost all farmers to pay exorbitant fees to "license" their seed stock, and any seeds collected from that year's crop would not germinate the next year. They would be forced to buy new seed stock every year, thousands of dollars worth, year in and year out. Many farmers in the US, already hard-hit by the failing dollar and razor-thin profits, simply could not afford this, and plenty have left agriculture all together.

This current buildup is very scary, and there is nothing about it in the US media (for obvious reasons- we have Olympics coverage to distract us, as well as the upcoming announcements about the cast of "Dancing With The Stars" for this fall); the Russians have been steadily deploying out to the PG to back up the Iranians, and their subs in the Gulf have something we don't have an analog for- they have 230-mph, rocket-powered torpedos! There is no defense against them as of yet, sonar just doesn't "see" them until it's too late. The Admiral Kusnetsov, their most modern carrier, and its battle group are also headed out for the Gulf, if they're not already there. They have several squadrons of Su-33s, mainly, that supposedly have some sort of plasma-based "cloaking" ability. A few months back, a squadron of these 33's suddenly "appeared" directly over the USS Roosevelt (I think it was the Roosie, I'll double-check), causing quite a stir! They were COMPLETELY undetected! Puto has really upped the Russian military, and is hell-bent on putting the old USSR back together, including the Eastern Bloc. The Georgian-started (or is it George W-started?) "war" is only a small diversion. Kind of funny that it started at the same time as the Olympics, it got very little coverage over here. Bush is still telling Puto "You best stand down, boy. There WILL be consequences!" But I think that the rest of the world knows that we are stretched pretty thin- fighting a 3-front war is suicidal, at best. But think of the billions in no-bid contracts that will spring up from destroying the world! Halliburton and the Bushco go way back...even if Cheney isn't the CEO again until he steps down Jan 20th (providing we still have elections!). More angles on this than on a Chinese Checkers board! Just for the record, I have a real bad feeling about this one- it would set up Bush to be President-for-Life, especially if he calls off the elections due to the war(s). He's already given himself the authority to do that. Executive privilege and all...

Her behavior today, turning out the lights and cameras in the House on Republicans that were still debating, is deliberate, self-aggrandizing, and unconscionable. You should be ASHAMED, Nancy! I'm ashamed to have you representing my country! You should be removed as Speaker, and you should go back to private life- the more private, the better, as far as I'm concerned! What you did was immoral, shameful, despotic, anti-American, and illegal! You should hang your head in SHAME! This is NOT how I expect a Speaker to behave, it's discourteous, disingenuous, and you, madam, are indeed NOT running your own private Politburo! You are unworthy of the position you hold...wait until November, dearie- the people who elected you and your cronies are getting REAL SICK AND TIRED of the bullshit the CONgress is pulling. We need action in a time of crisis, and we're NOT getting it!

I call on all of my Californicated friends to rise up on November 4th, and vote against Pelosi, as well as EVERY incumbent. You say you want change? Here's your chance! All new people in Congress, this year, and every other year, and we'll have a new face on the government that is not beholden to corrupt corporations. "We The People" means ALL of us should be represented, not just the "captains of industry". We are sick of the games, the pandering, the corruption, the outright lies that our government tells. Something Big Is Happening...

Rep. Ron Paul, who is my Congressman, delivered this statement the other day, and it's resonance with me is undeniable. He hits the nail on the head here, and I think he has great courage to say these things, considering our current political/economic nightmare. The time is now to step up and speak out, and old Dr. Ron is coming through big time. I'm posting his entire statement for all to see- he's really not a loony/crazy. He speaks the truth here, and it is somewhat painful, especially if your name happens to be Pelosi...

He makes some very salient point about the giant scam that is the Fed, and about the problems with fiat currency; he also points out how far we have really strayed from the principles of our Constitution (a document that I am fairly sure 99% of the Senate and House has either never read, or doesn't care to understand), and he warns of the dangers of granting dictatorial powers to the Executive Branch, which we are perilously close to anyway. He also looks down on the welfare state, with it's "culture of entitlement" that has sucked away the drive and determination of the poor in this country. He ties it all in with the arguments, both pro and con, of "globalization".

Yes, the world is getting smaller. I plan to write in Ron Paul this November, if the elections still happen. He's the only politician who speaks truthfully and with an unvarnished pride in what we really are as a nation. Not these cut-throat corporate shills that currently occupy our government and enrich themselves and their buddies at our expense. Perhaps we should all grab OurPitchforksAndTorches and let Weaselton, DC, know just what the American people are REALLY capable of! Madam Speaker, I have, for the past 35 years, expressed my grave concern for the future of America . The course we have taken over the past century has threatened our liberties, security and prosperity. In spite of these long-held concerns, I have days--growing more frequent all the time--when I'm convinced the time is now upon us that some Big Events are about to occur. These fast-approaching events will not go unnoticed. They will affect all of us. They will not be limited to just some areas of our country. The world economy and political system will share in the chaos about to be unleashed.

Though the world has long suffered from the senselessness of wars that should have been avoided, my greatest fear is that the course on which we find ourselves will bring even greater conflict and economic suffering to the innocent people of the world--unless we quickly change our ways.

America , with her traditions of free markets and property rights, led the way toward great wealth and progress throughout the world as well as at home. Since we have lost our confidence in the principles of liberty, self reliance, hard work and frugality, and instead took on empire building, financed through inflation and debt, all this has changed. This is indeed frightening and an historic event.

The problem we face is not new in history. Authoritarianism has been around a long time. For centuries, inflation and debt have been used by tyrants to hold power, promote aggression, and provide “bread and circuses” for the people. The notion that a country can afford “guns and butter” with no significant penalty existed even before the 1960s when it became a popular slogan. It was then, though, we were told the Vietnam War and the massive expansion of the welfare state were not problems. The seventies proved that assumption wrong.

Today things are different from even ancient times or the 1970s. There is something to the argument that we are now a global economy. The world has more people and is more integrated due to modern technology, communications, and travel. If modern technology had been used to promote the ideas of liberty, free markets, sound money and trade, it would have ushered in a new golden age--a globalism we could accept.

Instead, the wealth and freedom we now enjoy are shrinking and rest upon a fragile philosophic infrastructure. It is not unlike the levies and bridges in our own country that our system of war and welfare has caused us to ignore.

I'm fearful that my concerns have been legitimate and may even be worse than I first thought. They are now at our doorstep. Time is short for making a course correction before this grand experiment in liberty goes into deep hibernation.

There are reasons to believe this coming crisis is different and bigger than the world has ever experienced. Instead of using globalism in a positive fashion, it's been used to globalize all of the mistakes of the politicians, bureaucrats and central bankers.

Being an unchallenged sole superpower was never accepted by us with a sense of humility and respect. Our arrogance and aggressiveness have been used to promote a world empire backed by the most powerful army of history. This type of globalist intervention creates problems for all citizens of the world and fails to contribute to the well-being of the world's populations. Just think how our personal liberties have been trashed here at home in the last decade.

The financial crisis, still in its early stages, is apparent to everyone: gasoline prices over $4 a gallon; skyrocketing education and medical-care costs; the collapse of the housing bubble; the bursting of the NASDAQ bubble; stock markets plunging; unemployment rising; massive underemployment; excessive government debt; and unmanageable personal debt. Little doubt exists as to whether we'll get stagflation. The question that will soon be asked is: When will the stagflation become an inflationary depression?

There are various reasons that the world economy has been globalized and the problems we face are worldwide. We cannot understand what we're facing without understanding fiat money and the long-developing dollar bubble.

There were several stages. From the inception of the Federal Reserve System in 1913 to 1933, the Central Bank established itself as the official dollar manager. By 1933, Americans could no longer own gold, thus removing restraint on the Federal Reserve to inflate for war and welfare.

By 1945, further restraints were removed by creating the Bretton-Woods Monetary System making the dollar the reserve currency of the world. This system lasted up until 1971. During the period between 1945 and 1971, some restraints on the Fed remained in place. Foreigners, but not Americans, could convert dollars to gold at $35 an ounce. Due to the excessive dollars being created, that system came to an end in 1971.

It's the post Bretton-Woods system that was responsible for globalizing inflation and markets and for generating a gigantic worldwide dollar bubble. That bubble is now bursting, and we're seeing what it's like to suffer the consequences of the many previous economic errors.

Ironically in these past 35 years, we have benefited from this very flawed system. Because the world accepted dollars as if they were gold, we only had to counterfeit more dollars, spend them overseas (indirectly encouraging our jobs to go overseas as well) and enjoy unearned prosperity. Those who took our dollars and gave us goods and services were only too anxious to loan those dollars back to us. This allowed us to export our inflation and delay the consequences we now are starting to see.

But it was never destined to last, and now we have to pay the piper. Our huge foreign debt must be paid or liquidated. Our entitlements are coming due just as the world has become more reluctant to hold dollars. The consequence of that decision is price inflation in this country--and that's what we are witnessing today. Already price inflation overseas is even higher than here at home as a consequence of foreign central banks' willingness to monetize our debt.

Printing dollars over long periods of time may not immediately push prices up--yet in time it always does. Now we're seeing catch-up for past inflating of the monetary supply. As bad as it is today with $4 a gallon gasoline, this is just the beginning. It's a gross distraction to hound away at “drill, drill, drill” as a solution to the dollar crisis and high gasoline prices. Its okay to let the market increase supplies and drill, but that issue is a gross distraction from the sins of deficits and Federal Reserve monetary shenanigans.

This bubble is different and bigger for another reason. The central banks of the world secretly collude to centrally plan the world economy. I'm convinced that agreements among central banks to “monetize” U.S. debt these past 15 years have existed, although secretly and out of the reach of any oversight of anyone--especially the U.S. Congress that doesn't care, or just flat doesn't understand. As this “gift” to us comes to an end, our problems worsen. The central banks and the various governments are very powerful, but eventually the markets overwhelm when the people who get stuck holding the bag (of bad dollars) catch on and spend the dollars into the economy with emotional zeal, thus igniting inflationary fever.

This time--since there are so many dollars and so many countries involved--the Fed has been able to “paper” over every approaching crisis for the past 15 years, especially with Alan Greenspan as Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board, which has allowed the bubble to become history's greatest.

The mistakes made with excessive credit at artificially low rates are huge, and the market is demanding a correction. This involves excessive debt, misdirected investments, over-investments, and all the other problems caused by the government when spending the money they should never have had. Foreign militarism, welfare handouts and $80 trillion entitlement promises are all coming to an end. We don't have the money or the wealth-creating capacity to catch up and care for all the needs that now exist because we rejected the market economy, sound money, self reliance and the principles of liberty.

Since the correction of all this misallocation of resources is necessary and must come, one can look for some good that may come as this “Big Event” unfolds.

There are two choices that people can make. The one choice that is unavailable to us is to limp along with the status quo and prop up the system with more debt, inflation and lies. That won't happen.

One of the two choices, and the one chosen so often by government in the past is that of rejecting the principles of liberty and resorting to even bigger and more authoritarian government. Some argue that giving dictatorial powers to the President, just as we have allowed him to run the American empire, is what we should do. That's the great danger, and in this post-911 atmosphere, too many Americans are seeking safety over freedom. We have already lost too many of our personal liberties already. Real fear of economic collapse could prompt central planners to act to such a degree that the New Deal of the 30's might look like Jefferson 's Declaration of Independence.

The more the government is allowed to do in taking over and running the economy, the deeper the depression gets and the longer it lasts. That was the story of the 30s and the early 40s, and the same mistakes are likely to be made again if we do not wake up.

But the good news is that it need not be so bad if we do the right thing. I saw “Something Big” happening in the past 18 months on the campaign trail. I was encouraged that we are capable of waking up and doing the right thing. I have literally met thousands of high school and college kids who are quite willing to accept the challenge and responsibility of a free society and reject the cradle-to-grave welfare that is promised them by so many do-good politicians.

If more hear the message of liberty, more will join in this effort. The failure of our foreign policy, welfare system, and monetary policies and virtually all government solutions are so readily apparent, it doesn't take that much convincing. But the positive message of how freedom works and why it's possible is what is urgently needed.

One of the best parts of accepting self reliance in a free society is that true personal satisfaction with one's own life can be achieved. This doesn't happen when the government assumes the role of guardian, parent or provider, because it eliminates a sense of pride. But the real problem is the government can't provide the safety and economic security that it claims. The so called good that government claims it can deliver is always achieved at the expense of someone else's freedom. It's a failed system and the young people know it.

Restoring a free society doesn't eliminate the need to get our house in order and to pay for the extravagant spending. But the pain would not be long-lasting if we did the right things, and best of all the empire would have to end for financial reasons. Our wars would stop, the attack on civil liberties would cease, and prosperity would return. The choices are clear: it shouldn't be difficult, but the big event now unfolding gives us a great opportunity to reverse the tide and resume the truly great American Revolution started in 1776. Opportunity knocks in spite of the urgency and the dangers we face.

Let's make “Something Big Is Happening” be the discovery that freedom works and is popular and the big economic and political event we're witnessing is a blessing in disguise.

War with Iran Likely As Bush OKs Israel's Attack Plans

The Sunday Times of London reported this weekend that "President George W. Bush has told the Israeli government that he may be prepared to approve a future military strike on Iranian nuclear facilities if negotiations with Tehran break down." The Times report quoted a senior Pentagon official as its source.

With increased resistance from the Pentagon and the November elections closing in, the White House may be choosing its next best option in dealing with Tehran: to have Israel launch strikes on Iran's nuclear weapons facilities.

The paper said Bush has told Israel it has an "amber light" to proceed.

“Amber means get on with your preparations, stand by for immediate attack and tell us when you’re ready,” the paper quoted a U.S. official as saying.

Military experts are not sure that Israel's military forces can do the job. Iran has dispersed its nuclear program sites around the country, and some weapons facilities are said to be deep within the earth. The U.S. has special bunker-busting bombs that could destroy such underground laboratories, but Israel does not.

Iran has made clear it will retaliate against Israel and the U.S. if either nation attacks it. Last week, Iran's military demonstrated its reach by firing nine long- and medium-range missiles -- including the modified Shahab-3 ballistic missile, which can easily strike Israel from western Iran.

Political factors may be playing a role in strike plans for both Bush and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.

Bush is in lame-duck status, and Democratic Sen. Barack Obama, the front-runner to win the presidency in November, says he favors the use of diplomacy over force when dealing with Iran.

Olmert is facing a political crisis as corruption charges threaten his hold on office. Some Israeli political analysts say Olmert may order an attack on Iran to bolster his political standing in Jerusalem.

The Times cited one of Olmert's closest friends as quoting the prime minister: "In three months’ time it will be a different Middle East.”

Scary proposition, that one. Yet, both Olmert and Bush seem hell-bent on destroying the world. President-elect Obama (I say this because the media seems to have already elected him) thinks that diplomacy will work better than brute force. My opinion? Doesn't really matter, but I think the only thing that the Iranians will understand is getting their asses handed to them. Brute force is the only thing they really understand. Theirs is a culture of conquest, that much is clear. Look at the history of their religion, their country, their neighbors. Brute force simply works with them.

Their religion was penned by two authors transcribing the history of their prophet, Mohammad. He was a fierce and mighty warrior, killing thousands, and his religion was used to whip into the Arabian Peninsula, those who didn't subscribe to the new religion were not left alone, they were not exiled, they were killed. Neighboring countries faced the same treatment, and soon, the entire fertile crescent was going Muslim (Moslem, in the words of the time).

The Muslim world is wanting to expand, wishing for an Islamic world Caliphate, one religion commanding the entire globe. This is no secret. They want to be the only religion, period. And in their world, the only religion is also the only government, which goes back to my earlier assertions that "religion is the world's oldest form of government".

They are making deep inroads into the Western world, using our own legal system against us to make certain that anyone speaking up against Islam is either silenced or jailed. They have a big foothold in Europe, with France and the UK nearly falling to the "Moslem Horde"...it's like the Crusades in reverse. They have a beachhead in the US, with the Detroit area seemingly the epicenter of their US operations. Yet, it's illegal to say anything against Islam. You can say things against Christianity or Judaism all you want, but the minute someone says anything against Islam, they labeled a racist bigot, and a lawsuit is slapped upon them.

I'm not against freedom of religion, except where that religion requires cutting off the heads of non-believers. I believe that people should be free to make up their own minds and hearts as to their personal faith, and having the freedom to make an informed choice is part of that equation. Islam doesn't make that distinction, it's either convert or die.

Now that I have that out of the way, let's talk a second about the upcoming war in Iran. I've been saying for quite some time that this would happen sooner than later, and this seems to be the case. We already have our battle lines drawn, and now it looks like coordinated efforts are being made to accelerate the process. Bush has nothing to lose by going to war in the final months of his presidency, and Olmert faces a crisis at home, being seen as the weakest leader in Israel's short history. gone from the scene are all the strong Israeli leaders, having been of the last generation, and mostly dead by now. This new generation of leadership is of the "appeasement" and "negotiate peace" types. It's been shown time and time again that the Arab mind cannot and will not be appeased, nor do they wish for peace. The only peace they will accept is the total subservience of the world to the Koran (Q'oran, Q'uran- however you want to spell it). So we're being conditioned in the West to accept our new Muslim masters, and Israel's Olmert is trying to save face amongst his people by bowing up against the Iranian Crescent. He has nothing to lose, survival of Israel itself notwithstanding, and the respect and admiration of his country to gain. Bush has nothing to lose, being the lame duck he's always been, and massive profits to gain in his waning days as leader of the "free" world. Is there a choice here that I'm not seeing? He has basically told Israel, "Go ahead and attack Iran, and if you need a little help, we have a carrier battle group over there anyway.

Geographically, the war makes sense. From the west, we already have bases in Saudi Arabia and Iraq, to the east, we already have bases in Afghanistan and Pakistan. To the north, we have bases in Turkey, and can use our assets in Germany as an insulated command post. Should be a classic "pincer" move, right? Something tells me that this won't be the case.

Hang on for a wild ride, it's quite possibly the end of the world as we know it!

Indy Mac bank collapse

The Feds have captured another bank...nice!

Chuck Schumer has been crowing for a couple days now that this bank was on the verge of collapse. Well, Chucky, ya done it. You killed a bank. Your cavalier comments caused the understandably jumpy public to "make a run on the bank", a run so big that they had to limit withdrawals to what you could get through the ATM machine (normally $200, about enough for a tank of gas and a couple bags of groceries). The withdrawals caused the bank, which would have been fine had you not opened your big yap, to slide into oblivion, and right into the FDIC's hands. This will be the costliest bank collapse in history, because there are so many other banks that are woefully overexposed to the sub-prime mortgage fiasco.

To fund this takeover, we the sheeple will have to come up with $40 billion, which is on top of our Iraq war bill, our Afghanistan bill, and our skyrocketing gas and electricity bills. For this I say "Thank You, Chuck!" Really nice of you to go around causing mass panic. Had they been left alone, and had you been silent, they likely would have suffered a further dip in their stock prices. Instead, you yanked the rug out from under them, and will probably do it again next week. So which one are you going after next, Chuck? Freddie or Fannie? Both are under severe pressure, and neither is in a position to adequately defend themselves from a smear campaign. If either of them go under, it could (and quite possibly will) cause a collapse of the entire Federal Reserve System, rendering the dollar worthless, and making inflation hit three-digit numbers, possibly four. You think gas prices are high now? Wait until Freddie and Fannie turn out the lights, causing a domino effect with bank runs all over the place. The Great Depression will look like a "slight softening of the economy".

This is bad, people. You all need to wake up and start demanding a return to a gold-backed currency, or at least silver. Something tangible, instead of derivatives and fractional fiat money. When the collapse happens, you might as well just wipe your butt with dollar bills, they'll be cheaper than the toilet paper that is about $1000/roll.

I have started to invest in silver, it's fairly cheap now, and I can't afford gold at the moment. It is still under $20 for the moment, but I look for it to climb significantly in the coming months (gold, too, but not platinum- not as much demand as the catalytic converters aren't being used as much since they're shutting down car and truck production).

I'm seeing reports of people giving up their health insurance to be able to scrape by for a while, to buy gas and food. Wages are under downward pressure, but prices are rising faster and faster. So go ahead, Bernanke, print us up some more money to bail out Indy Mac. You're really good at flipping the switch on the printing presses, and that devalues our currency by a noticable amount every time you do it. So print up! Maybe you can print a couple hundred billion bucks, and flood the market. That'd be sweet! Our money would be worthless, and you will have made us all slaves (except the elite, they have most of the money and transfer it to their shell corporations anyway).

Look out for the "Amero". It's coming, and maybe sooner than everyone thought!

Making the World Safe for Theocracy

Theocratic Iran continues to challenge Western democracies. Missiles designed to do in 6 minutes what Hitler did in 6 years to 6 million Jews were test fired by this radical Islamic theocracy. The Hitler of Iran has threatened to kill every Jewish person in Israel even if it costs Iran 50 percent of its population. Iran has imprisoned British sailors and sent a fleet of rubber boats against gigantic U.S. warships. Where is a strong statement from our president? Where is the bold warning against an enemy who has threatened us and our allies again and again? Nowhere. Silence and weak words are all that have come out of the White House and the West.

This is not the first time a nation led by a despot built up its military in defiance of the international community. In the 1930s Adolph Hitler cast aside the restrictions on the size of his military imposed on Germany after World War One and created the Wermacht and the Luftwaffe. Now the Hitler of Iran is launching missiles, flaunting his nation's nuclear technology, and threatening to shut down the Strait of Hormuz. Israel may act against Iran, but with the corrupt weakling Olmert in power, even this most basic act of self preservation is in doubt. Bush, the Chamberlain of our time, refuses to act. And why won't Bush act to save Western democracies from this madman? One, he doesn't want to rock the boat because of his ties to the Seven Sister oil companies and two, because he's writing his legacy. He wants liberal journalists and historians to write books about what a great statesman and peacemaker he really was. And so to fuel his own vanity, he lets the cancer of Iran metastasize and spread throughout the world. If Bush were to unleash the military might of the United States on this petty dictator and seize control of the Iranian oil fields, we could regain control of the Middle East, boost John McCain's poll numbers, greatly reduce oil prices, and save Israel from a second Holocaust. Instead Bush has decided to make the world safe for theocracy. And that's something everyone but the far left Democrats understand we have to fight.

I was listening to Savage last night, in time for his monologue, and thought I'd post it here. He's dead-on accurate in his analysis, in my opinion, except for one thing- I don't think it would boost McCain's poll numbers. Maybe slightly, but not a huge jump. Obama has already been selected as our next President by the media and some financial concerns.

But if you read Dr. Savage's short piece above carefully, it is full of parallels that are happening right before our eyes. The Hitler of our time, the modern-day Chamberlain, the not-so-obvious alliteration to the number of the beast in the second sentence, it's all in there. Brilliant piece, Michael!

The motivations behind Bush's lack of leadership skills, or even the missing drive to even publicly rebuke the little sweater-wearing monster, is painfully obvious. BushCo is making too much money from the Iraq war...

The state-owned Dubai Ports World has been certified as a partner in the Customs-Trade Partnership against Terrorism. DP World underwent a successful audit that determined the company met international ISO 28000 security standards required by C-TPAT.

In 2007, DP abandoned plans to purchase a British company that operated six major ports in the United States, Middle East Newsline reported. Congress was opposed to a state-owned UAE company having direct access to U.S. ports.

Executives said DP World has become the only international port operator certified by the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol. They said the certification would ensure improved standards throughout the company's 44 terminals.

"We are proud to be part of the C-TPAT initiative and to have achieved certification for all our terminals," DP World chief executive officer Mohammed Sharaf said.

Let's put this another way- who is running the election? The "war" in Iraq? The war on the middle class?

Look at recent articles from more than the usual "sources", and you'll find the answer is...

The media.

That's right, the liberal-biased media, to be exact. The same people who were analyzing the Soviet government-controlled media have now found new and interesting ways to control the American people's minds and wallets. To quote Ray McGovern-

"The experience of those of us whose job it was to analyze the controlled media of the Soviet Union and China for insights into Russian and Chinese intentions have been able to put that experience to good use in monitoring our own controlled media as they parrot the party line."

We are in heap big trouble. When you stomp in a pile of doggy doodie, the smell doesn't stop when you quit stomping...it spreads.

Now, for those of you with a modicum of alacrity over the past couple weeks, you may have noticed a very small story about a certain Representative (Dennis Kucinich) outlining his 35 articles of impeachment. It didn't get much coverage before news of Jamie Lynn Spears' baby gained traction in the news. But it happened- Dumbya finally got Articles of Impeachment leveled at him. It didn't get far, because all the politicians are on the take, along with the media. I don't know if you've noticed, but this trend has been steadily gaining momentum during the past 7 years. Something serious happens on the world stage, and it gets reported once. Then, some Hollywood harlot gets drunk and flashes the papaROTSi, or something equivalent, and once again, the media goes nuts obfuscating the truth. I'm tired of it. This is almost like Soviet Russia, and I'm not being droll, this is for real. The media DOES report serious news, but you have to have lightning-quick reflexes to catch it before they they run the six-part miniseries on teen pregnancy and the newest Hollywood weight-loss diet. This is bullshit. There's lots of bullshit in the media these days, from the networks canceling the best shows, only to replace it with more "reality TV", to the aforementioned deliberate misinformation and propaganda campaigns. Did you notice the HUGE coverage of Tim Russert's death? Yes, he was a decent journalist, and probably a really nice guy to boot, but DAMN! A FULL WEEK's COVERAGE? Nothing but Tim Russert on the news every night? And all the sycophants angling for the camera's attention to tell their story of how Tim Russert's passing affected them? I know the news media is a small, closed, nearly impenetrable club, but please, do your frakking jobs and REPORT ON SHIT THAT MATTERS!!! IS THAT SO FRAKKING HARD TO DO?

Israel's Ehud Olmert and Dumbya go together last week and discussed plans to start the Iran war before Dumbya leaves office, setting up a possible enaction of Martial Law here at home, and with the powers he has given himself with the help of your elected officials, he can do that, yet the only places I see it being looked into seriously are foreign news sources. We run round-the-clock team coverage of the floods in the midwest. The average American can't even locate Iraq, Iran, Syria, or Israel on a globe. It doesn't matter to them. We just plain don't care any more. We don't even care enough to go to the polls (not that it really matters anymore anyway). We are content to sit at home after work and watch "TMZ" to see which rapper is going out to which club, or which has-been actor is trying to jump-start their career. Like any of THAT matters.

Hope you bought your radiation kits when they were cheap. Got your Geiger counter ready? We're gonna need it. Dumbya is ready to start the bombing, and I don't think it'll be too far off from now.

Well, folks, the way I'm seeing it, it's third and long...real long...we're deep in enemy turf, on their 20-yard line, and we have NO leadership on this team anymore. The coach has slipped out the tunnel to go to the local Irish pub across the street, Paddy O'Furniture's, the quarterback has gone into the locker room for a nap, the running backs have seemingly switched jerseys. We're in deep kimchee, people.

In my opinion, it's really time to punt. Get the special team on the field- that's US, by the way- and kick like there's no tomorrow. Because, if we continue with this game plan, there will BE no tomorrow. We're giving the opposition the game, and helping them by showing them our playbook.

The Supreme Court has voted to give the denizens of the Guantanamo Bay Penile Colony the same rights as this country's citizens. Next thing you know, they'll be voting in our elections as well! This is WRONG. You don't give a mugger your gun, you don't help the burglar load up his truck with your 42" plasma TV, this is just stupid. Yet, in a 5-4 "decision", the SCOTUS has given the terrorists in Guano Bay full access to our courts, with all the rights of US citizens. Writ of Habeas Corpus and all! Why is this a Big Deal?

Because the SCOTUS is operating on a pacifist, politikally korrekt agenda, without regard for its REAL citizens. The terrorists were caught on the field of battle, firing live rounds of their favorite munitions at OUR troops. Not blanks, not flashpots, this wasn't a rock concert. LIVE AMMUNITION was being expended to KILL OUR TROOPS. Someone's son. Someone's husband. Someone's daddy. Yet, SCROTUS seems to think that these "people", and I use that term quite loosely, the same rights as US citizens?

Whoever voted in favor of this needs to taken out back of the courthouse to face the wrath of millions of US citizens. I say let the families of those killed fighting Dumbya's war have first crack at getting these judges to explain just why their loved ones' murderers deserve ANY rights in our system. I'd much rather see military tribunals try these "enemy combatants", and if found guilty, let them swing. Hang their sorry asses. But not the SCOTUS- noooo, they think that these "enemy combatants" would make swell members of our society! Give them full access to our civilian courts, let them hire the best lawyers from NYU or other liberal universities they choose, and give us the lawyer's bill. I'm sure the American Criminal Liberals Union will want to jump in on this. Anything they can do to hasten the downfall of America is OK in their books!

We need to recall the whole damn government, because they have shown that they are traitors. The granting of rights to the Guano Bay detainees is a seditious, treasonous act that should be rewarded with a noose. The Government of the US has NO interest in protecting its citizenry, only enslaving them. It's time to rise up, grab OurPitchforksAndTorches, and start our OWN tribunals. Start with the SCROTUM, er SCOTUS. Their scummy actions prove that they do not stand for American ideals and justice. They don't stand for Truth, Justice, and the American Way at ALL. They stand for enriching themselves, and pushing a communist, pro-radical Mooslim agenda. We need them out, and it must happen NOW. We need to go back to our founding documents, the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution of the United States of America, and read it. The founding fathers warned us that this kind of situation would happen, and gave us instructions on how to protect against it. We need a recall of ALL of the government, Executive, Judicial, and Legislative. We need to do it now, before the prisoners start voting....

Come to think of it, maybe that's not such a bad thing. Let's strip US citizens of the right to vote, and let the rest of the world vote for us. We don't seem to be able to take the time to do it ourselves anyway, and those that voted in 2000 elected Dumbya because "he looks like a guy I could have a beer with"...OK, following that logic, would you really want Barney from the Simpsons running the country? That's what you got!

Adrian Garcia

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I'd meant to, but my friend Adrian Garcia passed away on Monday, June 9.

Adrian was diagnosed in 2005 with terminal colon cancer. He was given only a short time to live, as in weeks. After consulting with a second surgeon, it was determined that the surgeon would be able to clear the tumor out without Adrian having to be on a colostomy bag the rest of his life. So he went ahead and had the surgery. The surgeon successfully removed the tumor, and reattached his colon.

A CAT scan turned up some awful news, the cancer had not been eradicated, but had, instead, set up shop in Adrian's liver. Three tumors, all malignant, were found there. Thus began Adrian's fight...

Adrian was a world-class bassist, playing for KC and the Sunshine Band, Sheena Easton, Debbie Gibson, Martin Nievara, and a host of shows in Las Vegas. Truly a magnificent player. He was a frequent contributor on TalkBass.com, where I "met" him, and was a fountain of knowledge. He never talked down to people, was never condescending, and was always positive. News of his passing, even though it was expected, sent shockwaves through the TalkBass community. He was one of the greats, and everybody knew it. What really struck me, in his "R.I.P Adrian Garcia" thread, was that most people talked about how he had touched their lives, about what a great person he was, not his playing. That alone speaks volumes about the man.

Early on in his cancer battle, Adrian posted something that was out of character for him. I saw that post, and immediately went to Amazon and bought him a book. When I was checking out, I realized I needed his address, so I called him up. I told him to watch his mailbox. About three days later, the book arrived, and he called me after he had read it to thank me. The book was entitled "You Can't Afford The Luxury Of A Negative Thought", and it was written specifically for patients facing terminal illness. He thanked me repeatedly, commenting on how thoughtful it was that someone that had never met him in person would do something so beautiful for him. He later told me that he had carried it everywhere over the two years of his fight, to every doctor visit, every chemo treatment, every lab test. The other book he took with him to every visit was his Bible.

When you talked to Adrian, you were immediately made to feel that you were his best friend. He was warm, engaging, intelligent, and full of joy and love. You could tell that from the first word. Something else that was amazing was his acceptance of his situation. He wasn't angry, wasn't sad, just determined to try with all his might to beat this damned disease. He was always very cognizant of his disease, but didn't let it get him down. "It's not up to me", he'd say, "It's all God's will. We don't get to know His plan. It's all in His hands."

His unwavering faith, and his positive outlook despite his grim prognosis doubtless aided him in exceeding the doctors' "weeks", trading the weeks for years. He worked right up until the last month, when his bass hurt his liver to hold and play. Playing bass was him expressing his soul, it was one of the things he was sent here to do. And he was great at it.

He called me at the end of April. I was just getting the last of my gear off the stage in Kemah, when his name came across my cell phone. I knew he'd be in bad shape, but I wasn't ready for the pained, weakened voice that came across...

"Hey man, I'm sorry if I'm bothering you..." Hm. AS IF!! "I was going through my phone and clearing out all my messages, and I though I'd make a few calls to people I owed a call to..." His voice was strained, much of the joy had left. He was weak. "I know you bought my cabinet from me like month ago, and I'm sorry I haven't sent it yet. I'll have a friend take it to the UPS place and get it to you."

"Adrian, you don't have to do that. Are you OK? You don't sound good at all..."

"I'm actually in the hospital...the pain meds are kicking in, so I apologize in advance if I lose focus..."

I flashed back to the last phone call I ever got from my mom. It was the same voice. Tears were streaming down my face, and I didn't care who saw it. This was my friend, calling me for the last time, from his hospice bed. And we both knew it.

"I finally had to give up my gig last week. I couldn't do it anymore, it hurt my liver too much. The pain meds messed me up, too. Just not good for sight-reading." Giving up his gig was like giving up his identity.

"Adrian, I wish there was a way for me to take some of this burden from you, to give you back your gig, is there anything I can do?"

"There you go again, always trying to make things better. You're so generous, and so full of love..."

"Dude, how am I supposed to be? Cold and calloused? You're the one who's full of love! Are you hurting bad?"

"Oh, I have good times and bad times, some days are better than others, some hours are better than others, but I can't complain. It's this disease, it's just doing it's thing, you know? And I know that soon enough, I won't have to do this any more. I'm tired of this fight. I take two steps forward, one step back. But at least I've made progress. I've fought it as hard as I can, now it's time to go home and see the Lord..."

By this point, I was in agony. This was a farewell call. I feel honored and blessed that Adrian would take the time to call ME, of all people, and tell me goodbye. I didn't want to say goodbye yet. I wasn't ready.

"Adrian, is it OK to call you next week?"

"I don't know what kind of shape I'll be in, but if you want to try, please do. If you don't get through...I'll try to answer, but I might not be able to. Don't worry about me, I'll be OK. I'll be going home soon. You keep the faith, and don't stop loving people. You're a good man, and a good friend. Oh, and thank you once again for that book- it really helped."

"You're welcome. I think about you a lot of the time when I play, you've helped me as well, even if you don't realize it."

"Keep the groove, man. I'll get that cab to you soon, I will."

"I already told you don't worry about it. I have my Schroeder cabs, so I'm not hurting for another one."

"I guess I gotta go...the pain meds are kicking in...I love you, man. Take care, and God bless you."

"God bless you, too, my friend, and I love you too."

And with that, I sat down in the middle of the parking garage and sobbed.

On Monday, June 9th, while I was busy having a bad day at work, I saw a text message. Two words...

"He's gone"

And my day got really bad. Nothing really meant anything after that. All my problems seemed to just vanish into the chasm that was the hole in my heart. I was stunned, even though I had been expecting it...it still felt like someone had kicked me really hard in the 'nads. Had a hard time driving home that day- I've never driven through an aquarium before.

The bass cab that Adrian had sold me was donated to the auction that Carey Nordstrand is setting up, to auction off Adrian's other bass, "Charity", and all proceeds will go to St. Jude's Cancer Research Center, in accordance with Adrian's wishes.

Rest in peace, brother Adrian, your fight is over. Hurt no more, my friend, and be with the Lord in Heaven...

I am stunned...people WATCHED this happen, yet they walk on by, or stop and gawk, then drive on. They left him there, NOBODY HELPED HIM. Ten cars DROVE AROUND HIM as if he were a piece of a tire from a blowout, or a discarded piece of trash...

WHAT IN THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE THESE DAYS???

What if that had been a 2-year old child? What if that had been YOUR child? Or, what if that were YOUR grandpa?

The total lack of regard for a human that is injured, who people WATCHED get cut down by a couple of street racing punks, shocks me. Nobody stopped to help him. Nobody called 911. People actually drove around him- I wonder if they were pissed off at him that he was getting in their way?

Is this really happening in the USA? Are people that self-centered and self-absorbed that they can't even stop for a few minutes and help save someone's life? Can't even be a hero for a minute? WTF? Even ANIMALS don't treat their own kind this way!

I guess life means nothing any more. People kill every day, more and more. Don't like someone? Pop a cap in them... Someone pisses you off on the freeway? Run them into a bridge abutment. Someone is cut down by a car in the street? Leave them be. Don't stop. Go about your day as if nothing happened. It's not YOUR problem.

Our moral compass is thoroughly demagnetized in this country, and I am SICK AND TIRED of it. This was WRONG. We spend trillions of dollars to help people in other countries, yet we cannot bring ourselves to spend two minutes to call 911 and make sure the victim of an accident gets medical help? I am ashamed and disgusted.

It's OK to run people down and leave them for dead in the street. Human life means nothing. It isn't worth a dime...not even worth a phone call! That's the message here, folks. So everybody go out and run people down on your way to work today...but please, try to aim for the politicians and lawyers! I think they're worth two points...

Obamanation?

Well, Obama is the next president, in my opinion. Hillary's "attack dog" style didn't sit so well with the Super-delegates, nor with many voters. Now, rumblings are that he may actually have her be his running mate...oh, jeez, can he be that stupid? Really? I don't think that would be such a good idea. The idea of an African-American at the helm of this country frightens many in this country. I don't know that this would be the best time for it, but I'm not paying the bills, so I get no say. Having a power-hungry female Caucasian-American as VP isn't too comforting, either. Yet, I haven't seen anything from the McCain side that would compel me to vote for him, either. He's as big a liberal as the other two.

I think that a prudent move would be for Obama to nominate someone like Joe Lieberman. It would give the junior senator from Illinois a good sounding board, and someone on his team with solid credentials, and someone who can actually formulate some sort of PLAN! "Hope" is not a plan, it's a declaration of faith, and by the way, what faith is Obama today, anyway? He just quit his church this past week, should we be suspicious?

On the Republican side, I'm thinking that McCain's best move could be to nominate Hillary, thumbing his nose at GOP party leadership, as has become his style, and to run on a true "bipartisan" ticket. He talks about it all the time, and it's not like they don't have anything in common ideologically. He would gain a large percentage of the female vote, which at this point is seemingly going to Obama, and would give him the testicular fortitude that he apparently lacks at this point. If John could do this, it would give his ticket instant "star power", since the true conservatives of this nation really don't support him anyway. They see right through this charade, the "Emporor's Clothes"...He's a liberal, and I've seen several articles where he wanted to switch parties anyway, so this would short out Obama's liberal agenda. Call it the "Unification Platform"...

If Obama does succeed in getting to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. with Hillary in tow, I don't see him lasting more than a year before he gets killed off, and Hillary ascends the throne. I don't wish this on anyone, but look at the NY Senator's past- starting with Vince Foster, and going all the way up to her RFK remarks...was that a veiled threat I detected there? I'm not saying that there's anything to that, but appearances can be deceiving, this is politics after all...and there's this whole "racial tension" thing to be dealt with as well...I'm not suggesting that the racists in this nation would stoop so low, but you never can tell...or, he could die of "unspecified causes"...I can see it now- "Now who'da thunk that Obama was into autoasphyxiation? What a shame..."

Hey, you never can tell...weird stuff is happening these days, unnatural alliances are being forged, polticians are being bought and sold by the lobbyists like the common street whores and prostitutes that they really are, and we're paying the tab! Wake up, America, before it's too late! We need to march on Weaselton, D.C. with Our Pitchforks And Torches to let the crooked politicians know, in no uncertain terms, that they are supposed to work for US! The People!

This is bigger than the slaves getting to vote after emancipation, but only being 3/5 of a vote. That was the last "compromise" that was delivered to voters. It was addressed by the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, in Section 2 of that Amendment, which reads-

Section 2. Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens twenty-one years of age in such State.

So, those of you living in those states have been disenfranchised. The Democratic Party is deciding who you REALLY vote for. Don't like the results? Tough. They are telling you who you're electing, and this is FRAUD, plain and simple. Remember a couple posts back where I said the Corporations decide who gets elected? Case in point, and case closed. Are people pissed? Yes, judging from what I've seen and read. The people who are happy are those who voted for Hillary. They got more votes than they thought. Those who voted for Obama got rooked out of some delegates, though not enough to lose the "election".

Let me make one thing clear- THIS IS NOT AN ELECTION!!! The "people" do NOT get a say in this. Make no mistake about it, when I first heard Obama's name about three years ago, and he was labeled by the media as "The Democrat's Biggest Rising Star", I knew he was going to be appointed the next President. I stand by that opinion today. I don't think that McCain can win against him. The media has him portrayed as the New Messiah. The Corporations that run this once-great nation will make certain he is elected, a bought-and-paid-for package- not so different from the Village Idiot we currently have, skippering the sinking ship called America. WHEN WILL PEOPLE WAKE UP AND REALIZE THAT THIS IS NOT "FOR OUR COUNTRY", BUT THE CORPORATIONS' COLLECTIVE WALLETS?

It's not about the "will of the people". It's not about "the nation", it's not about whatever hot-button, emotionally-charged issue making the headlines. It is about greed run amok. As they say, "Power Corrupts. Power Point Corrupts Absolutely."

We are having our rights stripped away from us, not just the enumerated rights spelled out in the Bill of Rights, but our very rights of self-determination. The era of the One-Party System is upon us, and people aren't seeing it. They are responding to emotion, accepting inane labels such as "Republican", "Democrat", "Conservative" and "Liberal", when the two parties would be best described as "Unbridled Greed", or "Corruption Incarnate".

I fear for this country's future, I really do. I think we may actually have gone beyond the "tipping point" this time, and are faced with a government "Of Itself, By Itself, And For Itself". That's NOT what was written in the Constitution- I know, because I've read it. We're headed in the wrong direction, led along by the complicit media, and the not-so-benevolent oligarchy that we know as the Federal Government.

We no longer have a say in anything that goes on, unless we band together and go after the demagogues with Our Pitchforks And Torches! Welcome to the New Amerika, comrades!

It seems, in this day and age, that the entire world is turning upside down. What was once evil is now good, what was once good is now reviled. Life, for many, has no meaning, there is no hope, there is no future. Corruption and greed dominate everything. Yet, somehow, Average Joe and his wife and 2.4 kids soldier on, blind to what is going on around them. They are drones, content to do the same repetitive things day after day...get up, go to work, come home, fix dinner, watch the Brain Drain (TV), go to bed. On Fridays, or every other Friday for some, the routine changes ever so slightly- get up, go to work, pick up paycheck, stop at the bank on the way home, fix dinner, watch the Brain Drain, go to bed.

Gas prices are going up faster than any time in my life, and it affects every single facet of our lives. Yet some people keep saying "I don't care what's going on in the world, it doesn't affect me!"

Yes it does, you moronic imbecile! Our gas prices are making the costs of EVERYTHING skyrocket! Food, clothes, airline tickets, all are costing us more and more. And the government is printing money around the clock, devaluing our dollar almost by the hour. Of course, this doesn't affect YOU, because you still get the same number of dollars in your paycheck, so why worry?

Well, Einstein, the same amount of dollars are buying you LESS of the goods you use on a daily basis. "But my car is pretty fuel-efficient, I get 25 miles a gallon...it takes me $80 to fill up once a week. I can still afford it." This same person has lost 35% of his 401(k)'s value, but he doesn't check, so he doesn't know. He also opted out of making contributions to make sure he has enough money for his food, car payment, electric bill, mortgages, et al. He has credit cards, but they all are maxed out, the minimum payments have grown to elephantine size, and now he's having to decide which minimum payments he makes this month. Even though he makes the minimum payment on time, he still has no room on the cards for an emergency, nor does he have an emergency fund set up to cover 3-6 months of expenses. We're not talking just rent, food, and gas money for three months, we're talking ALL his expenses, including taxes. If he lost his job today, how would he survive?

He wouldn't. He'd be a street bum, like millions of others...

And that's a shame. But it's the way the "powers that be" want it. That way, there are only TWO classes in America- those who are wealthy, and the new "Slave Class", which is where we're headed.

Don't think that elections mean anything any more, because they don't. There is ONE political party in the USA, and that party is the wealthy corporations. Period, end of story. THEY decide who the candidates will be, THEY fund the campaigns, THEY run the polls, THEY control how much mud is slung at who, and what the fallout will be. All the politicians running for President this time have basically the same platform. There is NO difference between Democrat or Republican anymore...we've basically turned into the old Soviet Union. All that's left is to rename the media "Pravda" and we'll be all set!

It's about time we gathered in Weaselton, D.C. with Our Pitchforks And Torches, and threw the bums out!

Hi, and welcome to "Our Pitchforks And Torches"! This is my blog, where I hope to educate, entertain, and hopefully help save this once-proud, once-great nation. I'm not very politically correct (I HATE that term, it's so misleading!) so if what I write about offends you, move back to your third-world nation. I'm trying to get my country back!

The political system here is broken. The banking system is broken. The medical care system is broken. The odds that I'll ever be able to retire are slim and none. The only thing we have going for us is if enough people wake up, maybe we can get this country back before it's too late (which it may possibly be).

I welcome posts that are full of dissent, as I believe that dissention is the root of patriotism. We need a national discussion, politicians uninvited, where we can discuss our problems, search for answers, plan for a future that is brighter than the bleak, arid path I see us sliding down, and to actually have some discourse on things that matter. Since our "elected" "officials" in Weaselton, D.C. do NOT have our interests in mind, let's break out Our Pitchforks And Torches and solve some problems, shall we?

I'll post stories and commentary on issues that I think are important, from time to time, and hope that you join in the discussion.
